And dont forget

United States

If your landlord is TRULY jerking you around the law clearly states that a bankruptcy filing will even halt an eviction in progress.

The eviction is on 100% HOLD until the bankruptcy filing is disposed and that's 3-6 months on average. Even the utica grunts can't lie and change the laws though they try to take advantage of people. There are MANY complaints against the City Court there with the State Unified Court System. One complaint even noted that when certain people arrive they HIDE the complaint forms lol!
The city of is not to be trusted or respected, LOOK at their track record, you can't deny it. Almost anyone I ever met there had some story of being burned by the corrupt lazy self-interested halfasses there. Just open your fkn "newspaper" if you have ANY reason to question me.

Utica is a failed dysfunctional cyst. Just amusement today. Respect? They don't deserve it and don't respect themselves look at the disgraceful people they elect and allow to teach the kids there! Look at the KIDS! And who trusts the courst there anyway anymore?
When they get out of line show them what "out of line" really means. The courts work for YOU in everywhere but upstate.

Also, bankruptcy is very very easy to initiate it's two forms.
Look it up or I'll show you the exact laws and "how tos" from attorneys.

tenants suck

United States

I agree that many tenants suck. Even as a tenant myself. I'm renting a home I've been in three years and have done my best to maintain the place, and don't have a problem paying damages (young kids, sht happens). I even replaced the kitchen faucet at my own expense when it went bad. But I'm in a situation where my furnace is broken. It's February in Syracuse, I have young children, and no heat. I have documentation that we have reported the issue. I have reported the issue to code enforcement and filed a complaint. But I don't feel I should have to fix the furnace for this guy. My attorney agrees but unfortunately the courts apparently are very soft on habitability law in my town. No one seems to have the spine to stand up to this guy. The judges from what I've heard are in his pocket. Anyone have any ideas?
