Judged: 1 1 1 If they want to do it the legal way and spend more time in YOUR property without paying rent, having a bunch of close friends and relatives over 6 feet tall armed with baseball bats does wonders in getting the deadbeat tenant to leave..... Doing it the legal way, cost the owner of the property a minimum of $150 and takes over a month to get them out (even if they did pay the rent and living in a month to month rental). |

Judged: 2 2 2 The cops can be in the middle of throwing your furniture in the street but the moment that judge sees your papers have been filed it STOPS the eviction indefinitely until the bankruptcy is settled. PERIOD. Also the guys who serve papers in Utica don't do it legally and you can FORCE the courts to recognize the real law vs. the "way they do it there in Utica". What they do in utica is called "Sewer Service" and they do not perform the services legally and correctly. That's why Utica is so fzzked up because they try to bend the rules and allow it to become a harassment. More on this soon if you need more info and help. |

Judged: 2 2 2 You are nuts!!!! All you have to do is go to the City Clerk's Office; she gives you a Court Date where the Judge issues the Eviction. The Clerk also gives you the Legal paper to serve the Tenant by registered/certified mail informing them of the eviction. All the eviction proceedings are perfectly legal if you are forced to get a tenant out of your property. Personally, I like the idea of men with baseball bats - much more effective! |
