Robert Sullivan, Utica Urban and Economic Development commissioner, raised the point that sometimes people outside the area could have a fresh perspective on what Oneida County offers.

Certain individuals might have ties to Utica and should be considered for the work, Sullivan said.

Here is a fresh perspective Bob. Pay your taxes, you were listed again today on Page 6B of the Utica OD, under the Heading State of New York, Supreme Court, Oneida County. For petition and notice of foreclosure. Bob, don't offer me advice on what will make the community better when you refuse to pay your taxes. As Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency you will be overseeing the maintenance of your foreclosed property. Pay up Bob, be a good Citizen.

Wow. you're right. He becomes the owner of his old properties once the properties are foreclosed upon,the tax liability is erased, then he can have the URA sell them to a "third party"---wink,wink--- for $1.00. Only in Utica folks.

Sullivan is possibly the worst civil servant ever.
I remember when he was on the council he lost and did not attend the last 3 mtgs. of the year cuz he was po'd. Then he quit the position of clerk, codes commis. and even sued the city. Now Roefaro fell for his line of bull during the campaing and names him head of UR and E&ED. Roefaro needs to toss him out.

What is Millicent Rader Harris lookingfor with that letter to the editor in today's OD. Bob Sullivan is an asset. Bob won't pay his property taxes which any responsible citizen must. Bob Sullivan is a Burden, a major burden on the Taxpayer of Utica.

The OD prints the list 3 times -it doesn't matter if you pay your tax the first time or the second time that it comes out in print-they never correct the list--this was my experience last year and i called and said my tax is paid why are you still puting me down as a tax dodger and they at the tax office said thats the way it is-can't change it! so maybe some of those people you are slandering HAVE paid and you don't know it!!!!!!!

Mayor Roefaro stated today that he made Bob Sullivan pay his taxes. If this is true, now that he has practice maybe he should hire Chuck Gaetano and Joe Carucci, fire some people that actually could do the job, over pay them and allow them to say whatever they want and then make them pay their taxes.

Hey stop whining. I paid my taxes on time. Why should I care that you are offended that you got your name on a tax roll and it was printed three times. When did you find out that your taxes were due? Was this your first time? Maybe you'll learn something and pay them on time. While you're at it, you should call Bob Sullivan (that is, if it isn't you already), and all of the other people named on the list and have a bitch session. Maybe you could call the OD and they could write an article about it. I'll bet that Sullivan would even cater it and use his Personal Assistant to wait on everyone. What a whiner.

Hey Cat's Meow=Sorry to hear of your troubles.

I am glad that you finally got around to paying your taxes.

By the way, your troubles were so terrible that I am going to excuse Bob Sullivan from ever having to pay taxes too.

As a matter of fact, we should pass a law that says that if someone else has problems (real ones and I truely am sorry for yours), then everyone else can use that as an excuse to not meet their obligations.

By the way, Bob is a high ranking member of the Roefaro fully endorsed by Arcuri. Don't kid yourself, Bob wouldn't have been there if he didn't get the ok from Arcuri. Bob's failure to pay taxes was publicly known and yet Arcuri didn't insist on making him take care of his obligations and act selfishly.

DO YOU THINK THAT ARCURI WANTED A MAN LIKE THIS IN CHARGE OF THE FEDERAL FUNDS?

The other names on the list are not City of Utica employees or the chief economic development officer for the city. The fact that Bob Sullivan is the Commissioner of Economic Development and Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency brings with it the responsibility to pay your taxes. Bob Sullivan and Gary Rizzo have a prolonged history of late or non payment of taxes, in fact Bob's non payment of the Thornberry's taxes was a major consideration in his defeat in the September 2007 Republican Mayoral Primary. This is not a first time miss, an oversight or, shortterm setback, this is a well though out plan to rid themselves of a Property originally purchased from the Urban Renewal Agency during the Hanna years. Bob just stop the excuses and pay your taxes.

Hey come on now this is all about Sullivan again there are BIGGER FISH TO FRY FIRST LETS BE FAIR --IF THAT IS SOMETHING ANY OF YOUR GOVT HATERS CAN DO---Sullivan said he had money problems and was doing the best he could after being out of a job for 2 years and trying to make a go of his Thornberrys during the years of the Stanleys construction that totally shut his street off to cars and his parking lot was filled with trucks and cement mixers and a giant fence was put around the whole place and everyone thought it was a closed business I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS ONE OF THE CONSTUCTION WORKERS AND I FELT SORRY FOR THE GUY --HE LOST ALOT OF CUSTOMERS--BUT MOST OF THE WORKERS WOULD EAT LUNCH THERE AND HE GAVE US GREAT FOOD AT A GOOD PRICE AND WE KEPT HIS LUNCH BUS.NESS GOING AND HE THANKED US!!!!!! BUT AT NIGHT IT WAS A GHOST TOWN but like the OD reported him saying he never laid anyone off and everyone got paid and he had to let his own bills go because he used his own bill money for the employees paychecks That to me is a great boss to work for--not a deadbeat tax dodger like you nuts call him
