Although I'm not surprised. I would think that the POTUS, and the v.p. during the time of the attacks. Would have been present today. No Candileesa either? Poor representation to say the least.

Bush was probably painting, and Richard most likely was hunting. Or maybe they were just counting money.

Probably. And the cheap bastards probably wanted their expenses covered.

Or perhaps they realize that the event is not about them but about hundreds and thousands of others on the scene and first responders. Had they showed up you people would be complaining about them stealing the spotlight.

I disagree for several reasons. I will only mention the most obvious reason. There is absolutely no way that either Bush or Chenney could steel the spotlight.

Good point. Especially the post above yours. Notice the dif between public safety and military too. Not just the pay hmmm? Always blowing their own horns and making it a *look at us* social call. These people wouldn't know hardcore until it snuck and broke their heads.

By way of comparison.....

I'm sure a lot of other dignitaries didn't attend. Looks like a lefty loonball is freaking out again. Hard for liberal "still ranting about Bush" people to realize not everyone is like Obama and the new Dems. God let's not even talk about Obama now right?

How's that horrific track record doing for him?

Over 6000 troops, Some estimates say 750,000 Iraqis (many of which were civilians), 50,000 Iraqi children dead due to sanctions, At least 1.5 trillion dollars (not counting the 2 trillion dollars that defs. secretary rumsfold announced on sept. 10th was missing? You don't think this is an issue worth discussing?

Yeah, but on its own thread so as not to distract from the laughable insanity of this one.

While you're at it throw up a few about "Obama's 16 Trillion" and "IRS" and "Hillary Damage" and "NSA" too.

It's not about money. I didn't mean to give that impression. It's about human life. With that said I apologize for not including the 3000 plus who perished in the attacks, the unknown countless injured, and or directly affected due to the attacks. I also would like to correct my statement in regards to the Iraqi children who died due to sanctions. I believe the real number is 500,000 not 50,000. The population of Iraq before 2003 was roughly 28 million. Today it is at least 1 million less. little under 4% less than it once was.

Cheney is too busy plotting and controlling the New World Order.

Lets face it, he was the president for eight years, Bush just went to events and read speeches and position statements prepared by Cheney's people. Cheney calls the shots, and is still one of the most powerful (and scary) men on the planet.

Excuse me, but your post is equally embarrassing because it's poorly written. Your first sentence should read, "Steel is a metal, genius". The way is was published by you implies steel is not only a genius, but a "metal genius" (whatever that is). Punctuation matters!

In the second sentence,.."next time.." is redundant to "..before..". Read the sentence and remove either one and note how much better it sounds and conveys what you attempted to state.

Hint: don't point fingers. Ain't none of us poifect.

Oneida parent was responding to me, and I wasn't sure what he, or she meant. I figured it was something to do with Michael Steele.

Refrain from he cheap shots, my fellow Americans. GWB and I have spent every waking hour looking for the non-existent WMDs and we will continue to do so until we find them.

I feel bad having brought this up. Today the msn home page reports. "Bush's dog Beazley, and source of joy dies" I'm sure he will be painting a portrait of Beazley soon, and it will be big news.
