Utica- where harebrained schemes like these are the only way most uticans could POSSIBLY ever attain a mil. If he applied himself to a real persuit he could have the mil and not have stolen a dime. Wow.

Why do people from utica only ever succeed if they fk someone else over in a scam? Why is "scam" or "police" all you people ever seem to think about? WTF?

How come this dude has to pay this money back to the insurance company? You know they have passed the cost of this whole thing onto their customers through higher premiums, why isn't this dude cutting a check to every customer of theirs? The insurance company didn't lose a dime on any of this, including the investigation.(Obviously I have no concrete proof of this, but I'm sure if you are a customer you do, check your bills from before this happened until now. Anybody SAVE any money?)

So where are the Morgan's during all this? Are they still allowed to run the Hotel Utica? It's funny b/c the hotel tells people they run it and Dave works for them but he tells people he runs the hotel and puts Blue Flagg on everything. Are the people booking weddings there safe during all this or will they be paying his bail fund?

come on Observer dispatch ,do your homework on this like you did back in the old days of Fisher and you brag of your pulitzer prize when you went after the Italians for years with a vengence. Whats the matter your friends involved with this caper. Why do questions have to be asked on Topix. What lawyers profited from this .Do they have to pay back their fees. Why does the suspect parties doing business with th city/county.Who knew what and when did they know it.

Everyone knows an attorney told them how to do pull it off. They would have gotten away with it if they weren't so greedy.

I agree with you. I've had the pleasure of being in Joe's company. I think he is a good man and his children are great too. The whole family was so nice to me. To be honest, I was suprised a guy like Joe tangled with scumbags like Michael Matrulli, Joe Demme and Dave Morgan. What really sucks though is that all this came crumbling down when a sniveling little rat name Jonathan Farley got busted for cocaine and heroin on May 1st: here's the link:
http://centralny.ynn.com/content/top_stories/...
This Jon Farley and Mike Matrulli were literally "butt-buddies" that shared needles and drugs. I know for a fact that when Jon Farley got pinched on May 1st, he ratted out the whole Matrulli, Demme, Dellerba & Morgan thing. He and Mike were mad at each other over some crack crumbs so Jon Farley had nothing to lose and was afraid to do the time himself. I've read the depositions Farley made talking about the details he knew of regarding the scam.
I know what Joe did wasn't right, but something just makes me mad that a junkie like Jon ratting on some shyte like that. I seen the pics of Joe with his grandkids before doing his bid, it's sad.
