http://www.wktv.com/news/politics/oneida/Pice... thecasino lawyers are looking at the issues Picente outlined in the following consequences for rejecting the deal see link for all 8 consequences i believe we as tax payers of NY see and know the consequences and now the casino lawyers do and they thank you we do not have to except the terms and we could elect a gov that could open a casino here in Oneida county in the future

what picente doesn't get is we are happy the other countys get the money and we will open a casino in oneida county with or without the blessing or our current gov.if her doesn't open one we will elect another gov who will ... OIN will be paying other county's so we wont have competition,, thanks... what i dont understand is how and why we have to share the money with other countys in the first place the casino is in our county,, unbelievable our state can be bought paid off

Picente still has not said where any of this extra revenue will go.Oneida Cty. has the highest sales tax of any county outside of NYC. We had an $8M surplus and he refuses to lower the sales tax rate by a half percent or even reduce property taxes. Halbritter is greasing him good. Thats why he want it pass.

Destito is going to be our Vice-President when Nazi Cuomo slithers into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue!

At least then they'll screw everyone over, not just New Yorkers! 8p

I called and asked about how the deal would help Oneida county residents. I asked if my property taxes or sales tax rate would go down. They won't! Basically, everything stays the same if we take the deal. If the deal doesn't get passed we lose tax revenue and state aid. Cuomo is holding us hostage.

The 15 is offset by the lack of liquor tax collection and other taxes the Oneidas do pay. If this goes through it will not benefit county monetarily.

Picente, Cuomo and Destito all work for the casino and make 7 figure salaries from them. This is a true fact.

Don't bet on Andrew the Pious being prez. Its obvious he's running in 2016 so he's setting himself up. Its not certain if Hilary will run. She'll be almost 70 and right now, she's looking worn out and haggard. Cuomo will never win the prez. The south and midwest won't listen to his NYC bs. He'll carry the northeast and Calif. (now considered a third world country) but his backroom deals and thinned-skin attitude will do him in. He can't take criticism at all and he'll face a daily barrage about his backroom deals as guv.

No she won't. She can't fit through the door to the oval office.

Pissente defines the word sleazy. He is as foul and corrupt a politician as exists. His lack of education and strong-arm bully tactics do nothing but harm the area. No one can stomach him. They simply use him to get a paycheck. He has no friends.

My intent in posing this question is certainly not to be unkind, but strictly from an objective point of view, has anyone noticed the strong physical resemblance that our county executive has to a rat? His facial features are classic rat and an artist's dream for depicting a rat in human form. I am struck by the unmistakeable similarities between him and our rodent friends with every photo that I see of him. And from what I understand, he has the disposition of one as well. Surely some of you must have noticed the same thing.
