its all smoke and mirrors with those places; just look at the building itself.

Looks like a castle and so beautiful looking to get you in. Once in then you get the crap for food.

What do you expect when they give a dinner for free with the purchase of one dinner? If you went in the kitchen to see how it was all prepared and where they get their supplies from then I bet you would not eat there again.

They won't close; there are too many uneducated people who think that Olive Garden is fine dining. They will make money based upon the client demographic that made them decide to open here. That's OK; there is and always will be a following for local restaurants that know and cater to their customers. It has nothing to do with snobbery, I just happen to enjoy being served by a waiter/waitress that knows me by name (not a member of the "OG Team"). I like speaking to the owner and chef who will stop by and share a glass of good wine. Quality doesn't mean quantity or value. "Mangia for the masses...not for me.

Sad, but true. They'll still be in business long after the local restaurants close. Americans have become accustomed to large quantities of pre-processed foods like the chains all serve. OG's unlimited breadstix and salty salad will always draw the fat/obese (or soon to be the fat/obese)clientele who want quantity over quality. Nicotine used to fuel addition. Now it's sugary, salty, fatty food in huge amounts.
