what t f is codes doing? how are they letting these business open with brick ovens you cant have wood fires anymore it must be gas? and not an org brick oven? no way they are letting them have a wood buring fire in a public place/building

utica leaders and the fire chief sleeping again on the job do they know what a wood brick oven could do to a buuilding like that the only reason why rome has one is because they are grandfatherd in for it no one can open with a brick oven anymore utica can be sued if someone is killed because of a wood brick oven fire

First off you have no clue what you are talking about.......Dicastros, tuscan oven is coal fired, you can open theses places up there ovens are all up to codes..

Really? Already a negative spin on this? It's not the proposed boulevard that's stopping traffic in Utica, it's Utica itself stopping any attempt at progress. I know this has nothing to do with the other story but it's responses like this that explain how pathetic the whole situation in this city has become.

total bs i tried to put in a 2011 year made coal fired furnace and the city told me no so how could they allow one in a public place? its totaly f up i will sue the city they are selective in enforcment its simple this place didnt check with codes they just baught it and didnt think or even care to check with the city to be up to code or even care the fire dept and codes better not let this happen because i invested alot of my money in my property and i had to take it out

Perfectly legal and cities do it all over the country. YES wood burning fires are legal, you can have a fireplace also, and some bars, lounges do. please learn before you complain. Thank You
