Congrats to LE Tonglet and the Nitro Fish Team Suzuki Pro Stock crew for becoming the youngest NHRA dragbike champion in history for 2010.

What i personally like most about his final race win was the three pieces of junk assbucket harleys LE had on a chain dragging behind that big bad blue Suzuki as he crushed Andrew Hines for the championship win.

As you ride your mix master special edition harley superslip autobahn shitbox around this summer put that head down when them Suzuki harley hawks scream by your lame asses.

Another harley bashing thread. If harley's are so bad, why do all the japs try to resemble them? So let's take suzuki's flagship power cruiser, the M109R. 109 cubic inches of maytag looking wash machine with 4 valves per cylinder and liquid cooling but yet still can't get by a stock 69 ci v rod. Will it outrun a stock 96 inch air cooled 2 valve softail? it damn well better. But once again we aren't comparing apples to apples.
So look, if you really don't have the extra scratch to swing an HD, maybe work some extra hours at Wally World instead of wasting your time on these forums.

I would take a Kawasaki over a Harley or Suzuki as far as a cruiser. More bang for your buck. Harley's are overpriced and don't deliver like the Kawasaki series.

We have 2 harleys and love everything about them. Then again we could careless about speed.

Its not about speed, its really not about motorcycles, its about these attitudes that come with harley ownership.

Owning a harley doesnt make one anything but a person who owns a harley which means you own a motorcycle.

Until these wanna-be something they aint (ie. heavens angel, marlon brando, fonzy,) attitudes begin to change i guess harley riders will be faced with and have to deal with the truth.

And the first truth to be told is harley is way way down the totem pole compared to a great many bikes on the market today and i guess another first truth would be harley riders attitudes must reflect the inferiority of the harley brand.

It has nothing to do with owning an American made motorcycle and everything to do with age group. Most mature adults could care less what type of bike your riding and compliments both groups and ride together and have fun. The typical crotch rocket guy wears Northern face jackets and American eagle hats along with their droopy pants, ninja turtle backpacks, and tennis shoes. They can't stand it when the older crowd gets attention and not them, and think leather is a taboo and represents gang membership. The same goes for gang membership, they still have not grown up. Remember back in high school when you made fun of the other kids because they were not like you and you thought you were it. Enjoy whatever you ride, it's your choice, if it makes you happy. Nobody is going to follow your lead or want to be like you.

I got a 2006 Kawasaki Drifter and I am 62 years old and I have had all kinds of bikes, I have to say the japs make the best bikes but Harleys are what people want because they are american made and they have a mystique to them. Myself I go for performance and I would say that the Kawasaki is by far the best I ever rode, I have had British bikes also that were a lot of fun but very troblesome mechanical wise. I had a Suzuki that was a 2 cycle 500 cc that was so fast from stop sign to stop sign it would scare me.

I don't why, maybe I don't see it. I ride a Harley and ride with lots of guys that have Japanese bikes, doesn't bother me. More fun in packs. Some guys in clubs don't want to associate with people outside their circle including other Harley riders but for the most part this isn't the case, just misjudgment. If you treat someone with respect they will give it back. When I go to weekly bike shows I don't see any attitude either. If what your seeing happens at the bar scene, well then that should tell you something right there.

it doesnt matter what you ride but alot of older guys have an ego that there harley can beat a rocket. ruins the fun

A lot of guys on Harleys got older because they had no need to race a rocket. I think the ego thing rests as much with the boy wonders as it does with the HD riders. I prefer a Harley for the same reason as I enjoy vintage, small block Chevy motors. Simple, timeless, and easy to tinker with. And regardless of opinions about quality, the resale on Harleys is higher than the vast majority of other brands. If you're truly in love with technology and want a quality rocket, buy a Ducati. It's a lot more bike than any of the Japanese wannabe racers. (And it's THEIR Harley-I hope you ride better than you spell.)

It doesn't matter what you ride, just ride! People who start these ridiculous threads probably compare their dick size in the gym locker room too.
Ride what you want; if you like HD's, then ride them because you like them; if you like jap bikes, ride them because you like them. I have owned both, and liked them both, I CHOOSE to ride an HD. If you don't like it, I really don't give a f**k, but don't keep trying to say one is classier than the other, or one performs better than the other...who cares? I'll ride along side anyone, if their a stand-up guy (or girl), if you're a dickhead, there's no curing that, no matter what brand of bike you ride.

don't forget to gun it under the bridge, it's sure not to make you feel more manly. loud pipes save lives!, cause you could get killed during that split second you're under that bridge you know, so gun it like you do. maybe thats just to warn people 1000 feet up and down the road you just went under a bridge? loud pipes have nothing to do with tough guy ego, it's ALL about safety.

Let me tell when it's a good idea to that. How often to see people talking and texting on their cellphones? Have they cut you off and nearly killed you? Didn't you want to beat them down? Cellphones are the greatest threat to bikers, something will can agree on. I don't care what kind of bike you ride, if some ahole nearly kills you or the guy in front of you, your both gonna become united bikers setting aside your differences. When you see people like that make as much noise as you can, hit your high beams and do what ever you want to do next, I got your back!
