You people are stupid and lazy. Hollands Farms is a BUSINESS and Marilyn is entitled to make as much money as she wants to try and make. You hate that about her because none of you have the smarts to establish and run a business .... hell, you probably can't run and chew bubblegum at the same time.
I go there for the coffee, some of the donuts (I'm very particular about which ones I like) and the SMILES of the women behind the coffee counter, especially the young ones. The SMILES alone are worth going there for. But I'm sure none of you give smiles so you have no appreciation for them.
just like i thought you like the young ones

Come on, people that live out of town, when visiting, like myself, make it a point to stop here. They have nostalgia. They send their half moons around the country. I have always had friendly service because I am always friendly to them. Be patient while you are there, be nice, and enjoy their uniqueness. If you want cookie cutter donuts in 3 seconds, go someplace else, but dont be so crass to a staple , landmark business.
Be Kind Anyways,

They are NOT nice and their products are not unique. They did not invent halfmoons, even though they charge as if they still do research and development on them. I and many others have been treated rudely in this establishment. I have never disagreed when they said "no" to certain customer requests but the way they said "no", was enough to keep me from returning.
