(UPDATED) Four Confirmed Deaths after Shootings in Herkimer and Mohawk, New York

Six people have been shot, four of whom were killed, at separate locations in Mohawk and Herkimer, in central New York on Wednesday morning, according to several published reports.

the stand off in herkimer ny a police dog was killed and the Governor and the police could care less? but if it was an officer they would be making a big deal about it but since it was a police dog they don't give any respect to the fallen police dog? that prob saved officers lives not one response from the dogs handlers

the guys killing spree was because the police took his guns and blamed him for starting the fire with no investigation into the fire they just took the guns and then he went on his shooting spree would this have happened if they didn't do what they did ? it takes weeks to prove someone started a fire arson this is how police are going to take guns from home owners when they are called to your home regarding any matter they are going to take your guns

I think what they mean is they'd rather it was 'nobody' man nor dog. If anyone else did it they'd call it 'animal abuse'.
There was no hostage. There was no rush. Dogs do have their uses in police work but this wasn't optimal. It works but that could have been avoided.
