I go to a franchise the bill is less than 40 dollars 20 percent is less then 2.00 I give 5.00 wow these girls / guys make decent if all the tables gave. 20 percent like they're suppose to. . I believe the law should change not how much the bill is but how long a person holds up a table. I bought the meal two for twenty . So you can't just give 2.00 even if there a short time . Pretty Damn good I know they work hard . No one can say they don't make money .i don't believe that many goofs that don't pay a tip

Ya Nurse, 20% is $8 not $2!!!!!!!!!! You could tip either way. 20% of the bill or 2x's the tax. You should always tip 15% no matter what. That's what servers live on. 20% or more for good service. And remember if you had to wait long for your food=(Bella Mia's) It's not the servers fault it's the kitchen staffs fault.

The bill was under 40 20 percent of the tip was 1.66 I was not being cheap . The point is I was there for a half hour to. 4 5 minutes you get four tables less then an hour being there all given at least five that's pretty good . That's twenty dollars in less than an hour with no education . Waitresses don't make bad money often they're portrayed as slave drivers . The cnas who work just as hard wipping ass don't get that. . I'm not trying to pick a fight the waitress not that nice . A little more to the story the bill was less then 40 . The tip was fine . The workers all have attitudes that you owe them sometimes it's strange . I'm not picking I'm saying that's not bad money I find it hard to believe people don't tip .

Ok I bought a meal off the two for twenty menu with a drink I can do math the tip would have been. 1.66 I gave her five my daughter and I didn't hold up a table long and I gave more obviously then 20 percent I got water it's what I wanted I was being cheap but we liked the food off that selection it sounds like franchises given food away waiters are making more I personally enjoy small business rests I wanted a change my daughter likes this rest the waitress really not that polite she wAnted the whole ten dollar change I wasn't going to just give money away today she wasn't that nice I gave her twenty percent and more is not my fault the franchises give good away and the correct tipping is twenty percent of the bill . I didn't like the you owe me attitude on this one waitress I had . I don't feel sorry for them they do pretty well on a no education job now if the person has an education and can't find a job that's not for this post

I guess a moron is a moron 20% of 40 is 8. Anyway you look at it. If you leave 1.66 on 40.00 it is a tip of 4.15.

OK 20% of even $25 is $2.50 so if you only spend $20 then the tip is $2 but we all know the bill was $40 or slightly lower. You still were a cheap tipper and I would not want to serve you if you came in again. Also maybe the server was not that nice or polite to you and your daughter because you are a repeat cheap tipper so she knew you. Either way I think you are a typical person who finds reasons to tip badly or get something for free!

My bill was not forty I said it was about forty ok I made a mistake my daughter wanted the two for twenty the franchises give food away I had money we didn't need to get the two for twenty but we liked the selection my bill was not 40 it was like 34 and change I stated a few times on what my bill was 20 percent of the tip was 1.66 I gave her five she wanted the whole ten dollar tip on a bill far less than 40 not my fault franchises give food away waitresses do make money cuz no one will just give a 1.66 even if it's 20 most people round it to five someone with common sense will understand the waitress's make more then the franchises who give food away lol the tip can be more expensive someone with a background in business will know what I am explaining or trying to they font Slave drive they make good

She wanted all my change wich was ten the tip was only suppose to be 1.66 on the bill she was given a five I'm not being cheap I'm in disbelieve I didn't even hold up a table I ordered cheap I didn't tip cheap . She wanted the ten you can tell I'm tired of explaining five was appropriate I'm too tired to explain she wanted the whole ten dollar change it was not me by any means it's the crappy attitude even if she did know me wich she didn't I tipped appropriate who cares it's her job or his job anyways customers come first most people don't tip cheap so they do good

I think nurses point is... The waitress wanted a 10 dollar tip... It's that sense of entitlement.. When I get good service I tip 20 25 % that us based soley on service and attitude, if the food is horrible it is note the fault of the waitress/ waiter. If I have to wait 20 minutes fir a drink, then you ask me 20 times during my Meal if everything is ok, then you don't come back for 40 minutes with my check, you get a lousy tip
