I can't seem to catch a fish anywhere! Not even a bite in 3 years!!! Very discouraging! I've been to several different places on the Mohawk River, the West Canada Creek and the Oriskany creek so far this year. I've tried worms, meps, phoebes and daredevils and nothing. Any suggestions?

Try different spots. I catch fish every time I go. You also can not just throw your line out there and sit and stay in one spot. Move around and you will catch fish... Don't fish in the state parking areas where everyone else fishes.

Check the dec website to see where they've stocked...if you go up north to the damn in port leyden and fish below it about 20-25 ft down the undercurrents arent as strong and you don't have to keep replacing gear. Small spinners and worms usually work well here if you decide to give it a try.

There's no walleye in west Canada or oriskany creek. Don't fish the mohawk below warz ave, the water treatment facility releases shit so it flows to albany so they can supplement their gov cheese diet.
