Brake Job Hustle

Tried to grab me for a $300. brakje job a few years ago. Brought it to another shop & they replaced half of the parts that TP tried to hustle me for. I now go to Oriskany Tire. By the way, brake jobs are the biggest hustle of all.

Carbone on Commercial Dr is famous for that brake stuff, too. Before u ever have them do the brakes, take your car to a garage that u believe in!

i always have been treated right at TP and the cost is reasonable as well.

Ummmm exactly....that is why everyone goes there!
Look at all the different businesses and municipalities that go there for years. If there is a problem you can go to Ken the owner and he will absolutely make it right EVERY time.
All of the employees are experienced and hard working and have no need to rip off anyone!

Agree, I was told by Carbone on two separate cars that I needed new brakes when the brakes had been replaced else wear a couple of thousand miles earlier. Took car for a second opinion and low and behold, brakes were totally fine. I even wrote a letter to AAA to tell them about the Carbone scam as Carbone was/is an approved AAA garage but nothing came of it. I think Carbone's deep pockets allows them to get away with stuff like this without penalty. If they are telling customers with fairly new brakes that they need new ones, imagine what else they are doing to rip them off.

they did the same to us!! AND, said we needed the 'differential fluid" changed! Took it to our regular garage & said we didn't need ANY of this & especially not a 'differential fluid' change!
