Hey mayor, you need a river first. Oh yeah, the mohawk river. Give up mayor, you looser. A riverboat on mohawk wont fit, goof. Maybe you meant a speed boat casino?

its actually not a badidea. Why not. the turning stone is doing very very good. Dont get me wrong here thoug. This should be a private venture the city should stop getting involved with business ventures. I do no pay my taxes so some assswipe can gamble it away on risky businesses.

the only gambling on the Mohawk River will be bets placed on how many dead bodies are at the bottom.

no use the riverboat as a shuttle for rome ilion frankfort ny the main casino is a building in utica ny the riverboat only has slots ... it will be like an apetizer and then when they get off the boat they go inside the building casino with food entertainment poker tables and every option a casion has,,, its a great IDEA if its planed the right way albany leaders have canceld partys at turning stone casnio in the past ynn reports with a casino 1hr from albany the leaders will be here haveing confrences

What is also ridiculous is asking the governor for a casino!
You ask those who own and run or want to invest in a casino.
Get it?

With Chief Halbritter in the hood, no one is getting a casino anywhere near central New York. The mayor is up the creek with no paddle just like the poor taxpayers of Utica.

In 10 years old the retired folks with actual pensions and the time and money to gamble on a Monday afternoon will be DEAD. No one my age will ever have any extra money to throw away like that, so look down the road, mayor. We don't need a boulevard and we don't need a riverboat. We need you to upgrade JOBS AND SCHOOLS. We don't need Disney land.

If we dont get casino river boats, the pensions will be unfunded. Does NYS really want more pension obligations to fall on NYS shoulders?

Also, who gives a flying hoot what the Indians and Hallbriter want. They are an independent country and as long as they pay no taxes, I oppose their interest. Aren't you tired of our politicians working for Indians before working for taxpayers?

I dont even care if Cuomo's oligarchy of casino placement doesn't choose Utica for a casino. Bring the boats anyway. We have an empty harbor. If gambling is legal, It shouldn't be in Utica.

We need casinos to survive, Bring 'em if cuomo wants 'em here or not. He is no ceaser.

cash from all over the northeast would flow into our local economy from tourists. resauruants hotels and all types of retail in utica would see a huge influx of cash locally and hire more local employees. he also proposed that the proceedings would go into lower residents property taxes and add funds to the cash strapped school district. its an amazing idea that would really help this poor city of ours
