Tell Richard Hanna No to E15! It may be better for the environment but you will burn more fuel and each gallon generates a tax. A portion of that tax is given to farmers as a corn subsidy to grow crops.

Fastrac offers "Non Ethanol" - it's the highest octane and will cost a bit more but well worth the price... Use it in your lawnmowers & lawn equipment! Tell everybody before the small engine repair guy gets swamped with work! E15 will swell up the gaskets like a round doughnut swollen up and resembling a bagel.

Maybe if you drive some old clunker. They already found it safe in 2006 and newer vehicles.

Lawnmowers run like crap with the 10% now. Pay the extra & buy NON-ethanol. It will save your outdoor equipment.

I'd like to see you keep that attitude and say it out loud at a car show. I'm just picturing the guy with the '76 Nova staring at you like Dirty Harry. Hahahaha

So everyone is forced to keep using fossil fuels so that some hillbilly Kid Rock look alike can still drive his old car?

It burns to hot. Older engines will not last with it. Small engines won't run on it at all, it will burn the pistons up. I was told warrenties would be void if its used. Leave it to Washington to screw things up more.

For small engines, ethanol free, for cars regular no lead is fine. But they are not built for less than regular, don't ruin your vehicle.

It destroys gaskets and takes on moisture infiltrating, has nothing to do with heat. That moisture sure burns hot, goof.

Just use an additive, there are several if you aren't close to a station that has non-ethanol.

The funny part, most cars will get lower mileage, so they will use more gas. WIN WIN, NOT.

You're 100% correct. This is the detail most people don't understand. You actually will burn more fuel despite lower emissions claims. It has nothing to do with fuel efficiency contrary to what the government claims. It's about selling more gallons. More gallons equals more taxes to be collected and redistributed in the form of corn subsidies to the farmers. It's a complete joke. It also means the oil companies make more money and can provide more campaign dollars. E15 is going to be a huge money maker and redistribution program.

gonna cost ya around $10 for a bottle of that additive. Plus, u gotta measure it. Best bet is paying the extra for the non-ethanol.
