What's Going On With NH Library?

Two questions:

Why doesn't the New Hartford Town Board do something about the NH Library?

Why is the OD trying to protect the NH Library Trustees by failing to report on their incompetance?

Answer: You can't. There is not a thing in this county that is not a fucked up catastrophe well beyond the point of repair. Everything is going to fail here, and things are only going to become worse. There is no point or hope, and you know it. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves and full of a lot of shit.
Best answer yet. I agree.

Two great questions I would like to have answered. Particularly, why is the NH Supervisor not totally involved in correcting this toxic situation? He should step in immediately (actually months ago). He is partially at fault for letting it getting this bad.

I think the Trustees have thoroughly embarrassed themselves, and demonstrated clearly that they couldn't run a lemonade stand.

The Library had an ice cream social in July and they had a lemonade stand...

Dam. I love lemonade. So sorry I missed the event. That really sucks.

All the money went to fund former Library Director Hans "Peeping Tom" Plembeck's $16,000 retirement gift or is it hush money. Either way, the library still didn't sell enough ice cream or lemonade to cover it.

Heard, through reliable sources, that former Library Director Plembeck is accepting a job with the NSA. They were very impressed with his invasive surveillance of the library, and his detailed reports on possible antagonists and radicals. Good luck, Tom. Enjoy the $16,000 hush money.

I stopped by the library and saw the large black and white signs pasted all over the magazine racks. It looks like A-- wipe. What a bad image for the town of New Hartford! Our clown Library Trustees are embarrassing us.

I am a town resident and frequent visitor to the library (even though I was against building it in the first place). I don't know any of the employees personally, however, I ALWAYS was weirded out by this guy. He was never friendly or helpful in any way. He never smiled and I'm happy he's gone. He was creepy and now I know why! Video taping the patrons? Weirdo!

Was Hans "Peeping Tom" Plembeck weird? Yes... Did he creep around the library spying on people? Yes. He also frequently had temper tantrums and would throw books all over the library. He should have been fired but instead our clown Trustees gave him $16,000 as a retirement gift.

He should have been fired. Another Linda Romano screw up. What was she thinking?

Fire? Hans didn't want to be fired. Hans had the goods on blind a Romano and the library. Nothing that $16,000 in his money could fix

Linda Romano looks like she didn't have a clue handling this personnel issue. Did she violate any laws by providing this bonus to the Director? As a taxpayer, I'm outraged that we're granting funds to people who are not eligible, and didn't deserve them.

Incredible. Talk about lack of fiduciary responsibility.

When will Pat Tyksinski step in and get this back on track?
The Romanos and Patralias have Tyksinski signs all over their properties.

The Waterville Library is really nice! Its in a new building just slightly smaller then the New Hartford Library. However, the Waterville Library is very progressive and ahead of the New Hartford Library. The Waterville Library is powered by a large solar power array right outside and it has a telescope and astronomical Observatory that you can sign up to use. The also have FULL magazine racks! If you live in New Hartford I strongly recommend that you make the extra 10 minute drive to Waterville to use their library. Its more fun, has more knowledge and a lot less drama.

Pat Tyksinski is terrified of Linda Romano. He believes that he will not win reelection without her support. That's why he will do nothing to fix the library even though he knows its a mess.
Don Backman is going to get the library under control when he is Town Supervisor.

Well, that's a reason to vote for Don Backman. Not a Romano puppet.

Whitesboro library employees are always helpful and they have a nice selection of magazines. That Waterville library sounds good too!
