Just wondering if anyone has bought and used this program I see on tv everyday. If so, has it worked for you? If not, then why? Thanks

I actually just got it in the mail yeterday. I go to the gym regularly and I just got to a point where my gains were not as great as before so I needed a change, Hopefully its as intense as it appears and helps me get to my goals. I seen alot of good reviews on you tube from people that got really good results

I just got out of the Army and we used it in our official training guide. Its pretty good, if you actually DO all of the exercises, the main host makes them look way too easy though, the guy is a monster. Its worth the money..But its worth even more if you rent it on netflix and dub the dvd..hehe..

Im currently 171 pounds at around 15% body fat and im trying to get to around 10 or 11% bodyfat. Like I said I work out 5 to 6 times a week but I have hit the wall as far as gains and this looked like it could shock my body and get me started again. Its no fun workin out hard and not showin the results as im sure everyone knows.

no, you are not going to gain mass with p90x, its just going to make you stronger, like ALL of your muscles...if you life, and take hydroxycut, you should be good in a few months..

I had copies of the DVD from a friend and it's a HECK of a workout. I'm your average 98 lb weakling who runs and bikes. I mainly wanted the plyometrics to increase my strength for biking. I could only do 25 out of the 55 or minutes of that. Tough stuff. I think you'd need to seriously consider quitting your job to do the workouts as planned. An hour every day? After working and doing stuff around the house and taking care of kids? It like most things, it's all in the follow through. If you are committed to it then it will work for you.

Can't wait till it clears up to run outside... who can't wait for the development runs to start on Wednesdays?

oh forgot to mention if you buy one of those iron gyms, they work good as a pull up bar and push up bar. They are $30 from Bed Bath Beyond, Dicks, and probably other places

For those that are not in good shape already I'd recommend the P90. It is far less intense and once you get done with that you can move up to the p90x.

Oh, if anyone thinks yoga is easy or for girly men, they really need to try the DVDs. Yoga kicked my ass!

Just completing week 10 of P90X and couldn't be happier. The program will deliver dramatic results IF (and it's a big "if") you COMMIT to both the workouts and diet modifications. Warning: Undisciplined types need not apply. If you intend to skip/dog workouts and/or continue making pizza & chicken wings a staple of your diet, forget it. No magic bullet here, you have to work your ass off doing very basic stuff like push-ups & pull-ups -- but Tony Horton et al provide excellent structure & motivation. As they say, "just keep pushing PLAY."

I started doing it with my son who purchased it, It really is a great workout BUT.... Some days I didn't have an hour to dedicate to it & then add the Ab Ripper on certain days & it's an hour & 20 minutes.

I'm thinking of getting the 10 minute trainer & adding some of the stuff from the P90X when I have time, but 1st I'll look @ the beach body CD & see what that has 1st. GOOD LUCK.
