Agreed, Why the Nay Sayers got to blast a good thing and event is beyond me. Most from the area do not feel like some of these impisills on topix. Glad you had a great time. Please tell your friends and come back again next year

I don't think anyone doubts it's a good time. But it's not what it's hooplahed to be and not by 15 kilometers either. Hell the mediaots At this point it would be safe to see that most people recognize it for the Utica Monday Night poofyscam NFP Saranac/Utica crutch it is.

See the little rubber tip? That's called the salaries of the top of the food chain.

Ask anyone if they would want to go run a footrace through utica or take their kids to or to a -

=Theme Park Darien Lake Busch Gardens Six Flags etc.
=Airshow
=Mountainbiking
=boating/swimming
=a day at Yankee - Shae or a good Baltimore or Fenway game
=A day playing hockey or something more recognizable as a competitive sport not just running along with a flag or something looking like you need to take a shyt and waving at people along the utica curb.

=racing for kids in Long Island

That boilermaker thing is cripple invalid fish food as far as "something to do" goes. Do you people flock out at Mall Openings too?

And everyone's "so" healthy right? Have any of you seen the pictures? Does it not DAWN on any of you that many people run that far 3-4 times a week without the retard parade? Surely then none of you get how bleatingly pathetic it is that people in WHEEL FKN CHAIRS beat half the population of utica over the finish line?

Cmon it's not "naysayers" it's "normal people" that look at a group of 65+ year old out of touch men running a promotional tie in like it was the moon landing every year. Notice the Syracuse paper gives it 1 article Albany NONE! lmao! They're STILL doing "Boilergasm" article in the OD and WKTV today with quotes from what the old men in golf shorts profiting from this freakshow think.
Call me a naysayer woo! Cool but some of you people are like entertaining pidgeons and cats with laser pointers you're that stupid. Enjoy yourselves but seriously please stop making yourselves look like doofuses any more than you all usually do.
Isn't there an Apple Store ribbon cutting on the itinerary? No? Nike? Nothing?

I am not jealous of runners. I exercise in a number of ways, but my knees cannot sustain the abuse that running creates.

Hold on a minute, OMG. I admit that I wasn't in peak running form this year (5'8", 450+), but I finished at around a 9 minute per mile pace and I'm happy with that. And I've been involved in all sorts of sporting events over the years:

- led ND in rushing for three years
- played HB at Cornell (behind Ed Marinaro)
- climbed Mt. Marcy 5 times
- ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain
- skydived 12 times (once at over 500 lbs)
- had a threesome with Pruny Pancakes and Trixie from the Showbar

and I could go on and on but I don't like to brag. My point is that the Boilermaker attracts plenty of diverse athletes and is a great event.

Not everyone considers an idiot parade promotion event "doing" something or some kind of health badge most of utica sits on their ass for a collective 359 days a year not counting feeding or bathroom trips.

Its true...we have Boilermaker groundhogs who stick their heads up out of their burrows once a year while the media does nothing but shove this down our throats until the day of the event. The people who need to get a life are the brain dead turds who put up that sign by Peepers strip joint on Genesee St. counting down the fkg days and minutes til the next one...YOU TURDS NEED TO GET A LIFE. STOP ORGASMING OVER A STUPID RACE!!!!! If this race is so special howcum ESPN, which covers the National Peach Pit Spitting Contest from Bullsgap, Tenn, doesn't cover the world's largest 15k road race??? Is it because no one wants to see a bunch of sweaty greaseballs huffin' and puffin' while the Kenyans ALWAYS take home the top prize???? BOOOORRRRRRINGggggggg!!!!!

And you KNOW the Kenyans winning every year for the last twenty BUNS these whiteass titeass Reeds and Matts they'd limit the race to "Americans" in a hot fkn SECOND if they thought for a second they could withstand the public and national backlash. If it was limited to local news they'd try it just like Utica tried making their own DMV laws despite having a whole DMV lawbook and waste branch in Albany. The wops and locks must resent that see them i their old-guy golf cargos holding the banner for the "coon" they have to smile and resent writing the check to! The whole boilergasm is just like the new "GAIF Alcoholic Irash Castle-Themed Bar & Celtic Retired Trooper's Grille" they're opening up under NFP status on the corner near Varick. These people are fkn amazing and they wonder why the taxes are jacked and the intelligent people are leaving in droves.

It goes to the "Team Leaders" They rob the Boilermaker Blind. They hook up all their family and friends with free passes to the volunteer party. Half the people don't even volunteer. They steal the food and drinks, tee shirts anything thats not nailed down. Bunch of self rightious hyprocrites.

Hold on a minute, Freebs. In fact ESPN was in town for the race and it was covered Sunday on Sportscenter. I was almost interviewed by that cute little Lindsay Czarniak because of my size (5'8", 450+) and good looks (a young Conway Twitty) but right before they started rolling the cameras I puked and then had to run off and take a huge dump so she interviewed some other people. Besides, I think some of them Kenyans are on dope.

The reason everyone makes a big deal of the race is because so many people come from out of town. Also, many families reunite for the race day. Also the course is very challenging so people feel like they have accomplished something good if they finish the race.

ESPN was NOT in town for this crap. They might get a mention but they had no film crew or anything down here. Lets hope somebody knocks out that idiotic countdown sign on Genesee St.

No Freebs, really, Lindsay Czarniak was right in front of me and I probably would have ended up banging her but I almost puked right on her so then after that all bets were off. I had to take a huge dump anyways. I'm a little ticked off because that probably would have been the most famous broad I've banged since Tuesday Weld years ago. I banged her on a Wednesday.
