I'm considering changing. Any good? or stick with a bank?

Their was a topic on this place a few months ago, someone said they had their car repoed when th eloan was paid. But eveyone called him out on it and he vanished. I use them and have never uad a problem but you will get someone bad mouthing them .

There is absolutely no reason to choose a bank over a credit union. A credit union is owned by it's members. A bank is owned by it's shareholders, and thus it must, by law, deliver a profit at the expense of it's members.

I switched to Empower Federal Credit union from First source. Must say best decision I ever made.

Love Fsource. I've been a loyal member so long, that they allow me to deposit checks through my home computer - as long as I mail it within a day. Very convenient! They are more flexible than banks and WAY more personal. I like the feel.

I will be changing to a bank at the beginning of the new year and so will a lot of my friends. Not a good place to do business with, cannot trust them.

Please explain yourself. You need to back up these comments. why is this no a good plce to do business. Why can't you trust them. Why are your friends changing banks. I have had no problems with First Sources, employees are knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you don't agree, you should ellaborate.

I like F Source, locations etc. but is the job market pool that bad? does this credit union have to hire the cast of saved by the bell?? I was in the drive thru and 2 kids "doorknobs" were having a party behind the glass... 4 lanes 5 cars deep in each one and they could give a crap... one was a blonde and the other was some kid checking out her twitter ... note to the HR department there.... is the job market really that bad????

Whats really troublesome is your account information is in the hands of these doorknobs.... I have heard a few stories that they have screwed up accounts, put money in wrong accounts... their paid as little as possible thats why older people dont want to be tellers there.. I guess either you deal with spongebob behind the glass or find another credit union.

I am changing. been there since 2001 i have had a lot of issues. Plus my card gets declined when i travel!!!!! nothing but hassles.!!!! I think they think that they are doing a much better job than they actually are.ceo should sit down with some members and actually listen to some feedback.

Yes card issues is a big problem.... always check your recipt when you go there... make sure spongebob did your transaction right..

Fraud is at an all time high and there are several factors that go into approving a transaction....i bet those "denied" transactions were at a high fraud merchant out of the area like a gas pump or chain pharmacy store.

your money is being protected from fraud but what do you care, you have zero liability....smh
