I would wager that you are wrong. A big sign in the window says, all the products are baked there at the facility. I'm sure if you knew differant, a good lawyer would be interested. But I doubt you have any proof.
However I would add their doughnuts are not worth the price. Grocery stores sell better, and cheaper.
I agree. They are definitely over hyped and overpriced. They also need to train their employees better in customer service. Hardly of them ever smile when they wait on you and they rush you along like cattle.

You're ordering a coffee and a doughnut not some ten course meal you twit! Plus, maybe if you left a tip once in a while you'd get a smile.

Changed your Kotex lately crybaby?

Now you listen hear you self-righteous little b*itch. I don't care if I am eating a "ten course meal" at some fancy restaurant, nor do I care if I am getting a coffee and a donut from Holland Farms, the one thing that both of these transactions should have in common is a good customer service experience. I will assume that you have (miraculously) reached adulthood. How you can not have even the most minute grasp of this concept is beyond me. So why don't you take your donut eating, coffee drinking, tip leaving, fat a** and shove that kotex right up it?

That was really uncalled for. I happen to agree with him. He's not asking for special attention or service. He's just lamenting what seems to be the loss of the last thing that the customer service industry still had going for it -- a smile and a friendly demeanor that makes you feel as if you're appreciated as a person and not just as revenue. The fact that you think that anybody who looks for that is a crybaby, says much more about you, than it does the other poster.

In most instances it's uncalled for but in Bellerophon's case my response is warranted. The poster always has something negative to say about this area, a business, the way people pronounce words, customer service, you name it. I can only imagine what Mr Perfect is really about. Again, a fcking crybaby always on the rag!

@ Bellerophon
That would be "Now you listen HERE" assface.

And again, I respectfully disagree with you. Listen, I know what it is like to hear somebody constantly demean and criticize this area. I grew up here and have lived in this area my whole life, but as much as I love this area, it is not above reproach. You've let you provincialism blind you to that fact. It's more of case of loving your community for the same reason parents of unsavory children love them...because they are theirs. Now I haven't had the chance to go back through and read his other comments to see what you are talking about, but in all actuality it doesn't matter. As Voltaire said: "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". That is how I live my life ( well maybe not the death part) and it is the reason that I have taken you to task for your comments. He has every right to offer an opinion in this forum and to have the opinion criticized, not him.

You say the guy always has negative things to say ? He has been around for over a year an posted less than 80 times. He must be very irritating. Most of his posts are on this new topic. You obviously are just looking for a reason to bitch, cry baby.

What time do you usually stop, from which counter do you order, and whose service do you find is lacking?
I've noticed when picking things up from the deli side, one of the older women is a little rusty of her CS skills, and at the donut counter one or two of the older women need a little help in that area, but the rest of the employees seem quite nice.
That said, I never let the lack of a smile or "Thanks" get to me. They're doing their job, sometimes you just let it slide. Don't be so sensitive next time.
Having worked in retail, I can tell you that some days, by the end of your shift, you aren't even looking up from the belt, let alone making eye contact or smiling. Just think about those long, hard days at YOUR job; would you want to have to be consistently effervescent and bubbly? Would you even be ABLE to?

You are referring to the people in the ad as local celebrities but I only recognize about half. Can anyone name who they are?

PS: If you want to criticize someone, how about the doctor stuffing his face with fat, sugar and carbs. Just gave up his right to suggest diet and weight changes to his patients. He should call Paula Den for PR suggestions.

Mental midget, huh? My goodness it must have taken you forever to come up with that alliterative insult! If you want to challenge my opinions, as well as those of other topix posters, go ahead. However, I draw the line at some bitch engaging in ad hominem attacks against me. Mental midget? I've got a God damned Master's Degree; what have you got, besides the ability to spout vitriol toward people who simply have an opinion? Yes, I am critical of this area, because of people like you.

Yeah mental midget and thanks for validating my posts. Always disparaging people, places and things this area has to offer like you're better or something. I guess it sucks to be you then, right pal?

As for me I quit after receiving my BSE but in your case it wouldn't matter if you obtained a PhD because as the saying goes, "you can't teach stupid."

That's all you get out of some people here. They're minds are educated so poorly they fixate on one catchy phrase from the 70s and add it to their "sanctimonious" act. How clever and "Utica"!
