I agree. If the Government wants to release the names of legally abiding private citizens that own guns then other things that are currently considered private can and should be released. Abortion records, those who have been treated for an STD, etc. Why just gun owners?

I was just wondering how do baby killers get away with calling abortion reproductive rights? Killing babies is reporductive rights? There is no baby killing in the constitution
There is however a right to bear arms and that means you should not need a permit, you should just be able to walk in any store and buy what ever arm you want. Case closed.

The police can obtain your Medical Records:
Under HIPAA, police investigators can access medical records when they deem them necessary for a case. Further, the Patriot Act passed in 2011 to combat terrorism allows federal investigators to get access to medical records with a warrant.
