UTICA, N.Y.(WKTV)- A Utica man is facing charges after authorities say he was in possession of child pornography.

According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, John C. Killingbeck, 60, of Utica, was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Killingbeck was charged after the Child Advocacy Center developed information that he was in possession of illegal images involving the sexual exploitation of children. As a result of the information, a search warrant was executed at Killingbeck's St. Anthony Street address and several pieces of evidence were seized by law enforcement.

A subsequent search of those items revealed that Killingbeck possessed the illegal images on his personal computer.

Additional charges are likely to follow, authorities said.

Killingbeck is currently in the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 cash/bond. The case has now been forwarded to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for grand jury consideration.

Utica Police, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children assisted in the investigation.

Now why on earth does one person get a bail post to be released for the same crime as that Stan guy? He was released on his own recog without bail and only a pretty ankle bracelet. The courts are corrupted and play favorites to their own, seeing he was a retired police officer and was currently working with Children.
Anyone that gets their rocks off little children are SICK SICK SICK and all need to be locked up and never let out.

So when people are sick, we lock them up and never let them out? Is that a recommended treatment for all illnesses?

When people are sick we do what we have to do to get them off the streets and out of society so they won't commit any more crimes and hurt more people. If it means lock them away in prison somewhere so be it.
I'd rather have them locked away than out hurting more people wouldn't you?

So we should lock up epileptics? Cancer patients? People with AIDS?

If people are SICK, they need medical attention. If people commit crimes, they belong in the criminal justice system.

not people that are sick like that ! people that touch children have a problem and when they continue to do it and get away with it thats giving them permission to do so ,yes they should be locked up , in jail or a mental hospital wherever suits you i guess but not in the streets to continue to molest innocent children , my uncle died of aids , in a jail cell cause he lost his mind and didnt know what he was doing and said the wrong thing to a cop , do you think they cared that he was SICK and dying of aids , hell no they treated him the same as any other prisoner , actually worse while he was in , but thats besides the point. child molesters shouldnt get special treatment!!!!
