Roundabout Destroyed By Snow Plows

the roundabout is now about 5 feet wider thanks to close shaving by Utica DPW drivers. it now has 2 lanes!

Last year the round-a-bout was spared but this will only become another Utica money pit and eye sore for residents to look at. We don't have the money or resources needed to fix this disater year after year. Can't wait to see it destoyed once the winter is gone and we get a full accessment of damage.

Exactly, there was absolutely no reason to build this huge expence for the city. Just another eye sore and no resourses or manpower to even fix it. Just another expence for the city and taxpayers while the front of your house see's more deterorations every year.

You tools will think of anything to complain about. The roundabout looks good. Maybe it wasn't needed. But it's there. And it's not going to magically disappear. I'm assuming you losers are the ones that are scared to drive on the arterial or on Route 12. Maybe try getting out into the world and doing something with your time on earth. Then you might not have time to complain about a roundabout! Amazing thought.

I love the roundabout...don't have to wait needlessly at a traffic light(s) to get through that section of town...very progressive. The use of roundabouts is very popular and prevalent in developing areas such as the capital district.
Maybe this really is progress, but the nay-sayers are too negative to see it...just sayin.

This is a legitimate complaint,azz-hole. The roundabout was a huge waste of taxpayer money, and we have a right to discuss it. If you were living in Nazi Germany bck in the 40's, you would have probably said " Oh well, so were killing all the Jews. It is what it is, just get over it and get on with your life"

what's the problem? you don't have to wait 5 minutes at the lights in that intersection anymore. i go up and down Genesee everyday. i drive through the rotary with no problem. i don't get the lame complaints. it's not like any of you actually pay taxes as it is. so what do you care?

It should never have been built. Utica does not have the manpower, resources, or money to fix this pile of rubble. Ohhhh it's so pretty to bad that's only for our three month summer when it will need repairs and maintenance every year with tax dollars we simply don't have. Roefaro saw a chance to get and spend more taxpayer money and grabbed it but like everything else he touches in the city, it turned to shit and cost taxpayers fool.

I love the roundabout it works good i can go up park ave so much easier what a great idea it def makes sense.
