Making certain guns illegal to own WILL NOT keep those same guns out of the hands of criminals. You think some scumbag looking for a Tech9 so he can do a drive-by is going to say, "Oh wait! It's illegal for me to own one of these." He's not getting guns at Gander Mountain, he's getting them out of the back of a car. LAWS WON'T STOP A CRIMINAL BECAUSE HE'S A CRIMINAL.

These ridiculous gun laws won't stop future Sandy Hook tragedies.

Guns don't appear out of the aether. They came from somewhere, as purchase by a legal owner. And since gun owners are so scared of everything they keep them in their cars and by their beds instead of a safe, now those guns are stolen and on the streets.

Why is it when a drunk driver kills someone no one tries to outlaw the manufacuture or sale or ban of Fords or Chevys? GUNS DO NOT KILL / neither do cars, trucks, knives, etc.
Baloney, if less of these weapons were available there would be fewer of these incidents.

Only a complete fool would say that if ALL can't be stopped then don't do anything. Then don't tell me I have to wear a seat belt if all car accident deaths aren't stopped, don't tell me I have to have a smoke detector if all fire victims aren't saved, don't tell me I can't have bath salts if all people don't eat other people's faces off, don't tell me I have to take my shoes off at the airport, don't tell me I can't smoke in crowded venues, don't tell me that eat outdated foods, don't tell me that I can't ....blah, blah, blah on and on. OH, and my favorite, don't tell me that the tag on my mattress can't be removed!!

Some laws are enacted to for our protection, our health and our safety. Clearly this is one of those. You do get that, don't you?

Just think, maybe some of those lives that this would save could be yours, your spouse, your kids or your 6 year old grandchild. OR EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY TO ME, MINE!

Baloney, you'll make some other type of fire arm!! Just not one of mass destruction. However, I can't imagine that they would allow a low life, scum like you even clean their toilets!!

You think all the illegal guns out on the street came from being stolen one by one? They can be gotten from out of state, from over the border, from anywhere. Take away all the guns from law-abiding citizens, and the criminals are still going to have guns.

I'm just wondering, if there was a rash of stolen 18 wheelers running through building killing 100's of people each time would they ban 18 wheelers?

If people started crashing cars into businesses will they ban them?

If planes go down will they ban planes?

If people use gas to set things on fire will they ban gas?

Stop looking into the weapons that are used but they mental illnesses of people who are using them. People are crazy these days. 95% of them are on mind altering prescription drugs that can cause violent and suicidal tendencies.
