Dont forget, he also got to sit out after getting caught up in the bounty scandal and for getting caught taking steroids. Quite the role model.

Probably a salary cap move, Slappy. He'll probably hook up with another team for a lower salary. Pass rushers are always in demand.

very common this time of year in NFL. Saints making space for salary cap. He could still end up on Saints for lower pay.

Smith has never been the same since he got caught taking PED's. It takes longer to recover from injuries without them. He would also have to work a little harder. I'm sure he will get picked up by someone else. He has the size, speed and ability to play with almost any team. Time will tell if he can regain the status we once held. If I'm not mistaken he still has one more year on his contract so he will still be getting paid for another year.
