She has the personality of a doorknob. I had my first visit with her last week. I was there for 2.5 hours with 2 hours of JUST WAITING, between the waiting room itself, then in her office. And even though this was my first visit, she didn't even extend out her hand to me as a courtesy to introduce herself. Just "so you are here for a physical".
It's a shame you feel that way. Dr. Stornelli, although not having the most outgoing gregarious personality, is an excellent physician. She is very professional, is willing to listen to your opinions (self diagnosing) without being dismissive, and she is extremely thorough. After an unusual lab result came back, she referred me for diagnostic testing and I was sent to a specialist who took care of a problem I didn't know existed. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Dr. Stornelli is not going to sit and listen to a monologue of all your personal problems, nor is she there to be your friend. After you see her several times, she is actually quite pleasant and warm.
