Where is God

Where is God? He's in the eyes of your children, in the eyes of your Grand children. He's in the smile of a nurse telling you everything is going to be OK. He is the man passing out bread at the local soup kitchen. He is the neighbor that checks in on an elderly neighbor to be sure their OK. He is the wind in the trees that remind me of my father. Dad was a woodsman and worked an honest and descent life for over 75years. God is my mothers prayer everynite to keep my father by his side until she can be with him once again. That is where God is. You can believe in something and have hope, or believe in nothing and be lost.

If you are a parent, and this is how you see yours and others children, then I feel sorry for you. If we bring them up as caring human beings with a strong belief in God, they will not turn out the way you seem to think. However, you may be right about a lot of children being self centered. Once we removed God, respect for teachers, punishment, respect for oneself, and the golden rule, we did see and are seeing a decline in our childrens moral compass. You've just made the case for believing that there is more to life and living, other than oneself. To many people that is exactly where God comes in. God Bless you and yours.

God is everywhere, its up us to reflect His being and plan for us by our behavior as said above. Evil is not Gods doing, we are givin feel will and if some choose to perform evil upon others God didnt make them do that. God means to me? Good orderly direction.

I don't believe he's in the eyes of these self-centered kids of today(The me generation)! Most of the kids today don't know God because tyheir lost parents didn't feel the need to teach them about God! Our children today are GODLESS, and we can thank their parents for their ignorance!

Let the War Crimes Tribunal deal with him/her. It worked for the Nazis, its good enough for god.
If I read you correctly, you're saying you don't believe God exists because of all the violence and suffering that you mention. That tells me that you have known about God in your past and you're disappointed that He lets the violence and dispair go on. God gave humans rule to follow starting with Adam and Eve and later the Ten Commandents. And he gave us a mind to think about how we will live our lives. To my way of thinking God has alot of patience waiting for us to figure out the way he meant things to be. Rest assured, God will prove himself to you on the day he decides he's had enough of man's hate and failure. We'll be thinking the Nazi war trial were like a parking ticket by comparison.

Right! And where did these kids learn the me, me, me? You're not going to see God in their parents eyes or their lives either. Kids are what parents teach them to be at least for as long as they can control them which doesn't appear to be long because they failed to teach them respect at an early age. You can't beat respect into a kid, you have to instill it in them.

Bad happens bc God gave us free will and people dont listen to Him and what is asked of us in the Bible if he wasnt real then why is the Bible so accurate Jesus fulfilled everything that God said he would in the old testament. Why dont people who dont believe sit down and read the gospels atleast thats what I did and it changed how I feel.

All of you evil naysayers-you sound like the devil whispering in the ears of the weak.

Don't blame God for what is wrong with the world, blame yourselves. Everyone has a choice. God has always been there for me when I really need Him.

He doesn't kill anyone. The price we have to pay for the original sin is death.

God came on earth and you killed him and hung him on a cross now all are paying for that. You killed his son and the father is getting even. So we suffer until we suffer enough and some day it will stop.So until then the aleins wont expose themselves to us because we would make them an example and hang them on crosses because we have to hate someone and they would be next.

God is imaginary much like the Easter Bunny, Santa Klaus, the tooth fairy etc...prove that it exsists. You people need to open up your science books and burn the trash book that you call the bible. All these different names you give it Jehovah...Allah REALLY this thing you call god only causes hate towards others ... why do people and countries agrue so often mostly due to religion and money . GOD MONEY & RELIGION WILL DETROY THE WORLD.
