Become cops and firefighters? Of course they would have to learn basic sixth grade math and English though.

There's paperwork covering the fact there will be no closures for two years per the governor. Go suck an egg fat boy. Stop the hate.

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision today announced plans to continue to reform the state’s prison system that will save taxpayers over $30 million annually following a substantial reduction in the state crime rate and drug offenses which has caused a shrinking inmate population and less of need to keep more prisons open. Under the reforms, four State correctional facilities will be closed in one year on July 26, 2014, which will allow for a gradual transition, providing affected employees with more options for positions within the Department and other agencies.

Thanks for the post from DOCCS, which was dated last year.

Which has nothing to do with what was said in 2007. This is a venture by DOCCS due to population.

I guess you think Como would leave them open with no inmates.

Only 4 listed.

Good. Upstate NY will do MUCh better without the welfare-job prison-rilla lowlife whute trashy families. All those white trash "prison-guy" families do is drain the local economies and subject people to endless abuses and demands for "respect for the losers" and abusive alcoholic addicts they hire.
Time to get real jobs losers. The people seem to have gotten tired of paying your welfare redneck lottery payments.
The bad part is they will just climb into their 94 grand voyager they are still making payments on and migrate somewhere else. The cess pool utica region is a perfect place for them.

They will eventually tax all of the providers out. You'll have NYC...Albany because it's the Capitol...and a bunch of casinos. That's it.

He's releasing convicts early and then mandating parole people not to violate them back. Even when they absolutely have to he's forcing the counties and localities to house them. It's a shell game all so he can close facilities by saying the count is down. It's nuts. These animal scumbag criminal convicts haven't suddenly become good law abiding citizens just because riggi man here hates public safety people. Eventually this farce will catch up to everyone. Bad shit will happen in our communities from these scum, the pendulum will switch to being tough on crime again. Doesn't take a rocket scientist or even a civil engineer to see what is happening. Dumb.

You can chip in on here all you want over and over it doesn't matter. You have no understanding of the issues. You are a know it all outsider looking in and a borer line schizophrenic.
