You go to vote and all the candidates on the ballot are running unopposed.

In Central NY there is a single political machine has taken hold and limits the choices. In a place where the economy has been so bad for so long to have no new candidates with different approaches or ideas being debated means the continued decay of the region. Add in incompetent or corrupt media coverage and it'll be that much faster

I was saying pretty much the same.
I cant understand why people keep voting for the same jackasses. It blows my mind. You can see the area is going to shit yet people keep voting for the same fucktards.
High tax and hellish regulations does not create jobs nor will it keep jobs in an area and that goes for people as well... When will Cuomo and his butthole buddy Schumer understand that? When will these idiots that vote for them understand that. high tax and lots of regulations does nothing but bring an area down just look at the motor city n the mess its in. Yet people keep voting for the same fools. Lol jesus.
If ny doesnt want jobs or people left in the state welp its doing a great job at driving both them out.

Hahaha holy shit thats rich.
Republican? Dear boy oneida county along with a big chunk of upstate voted for cuomo the king jackass in 2010
But yes and no. Im talking about both parties. Need new people that will actually do something. Raising taxes more isnt the answer neither is introducing more regulations/red tape. Ive said this time and time again tax and regulations does not create jobs or keep jobs or people in an area other wise right now ny would be booming and its plain to see it is not lol for that matter detriot would be booming and it to is not. Tax and regulations does nothing but bring an area down.
No i am not a republican but i am a conservative to my core. Its simple logic look at most of the liberal blue states they are over taxed over ruled and its people are leaving in masses. 96k left ny 94k left cali and even at that cali has a lot more people oh that was in 09 i believe. Now look at the purple/red states they are gaining people jobs and have cheap tax. Maybe yous should take a page out of their book. Of course i am a conservative so that must mean im racist b/c thats the only so called card liberals have to play.
Remember detriot.

And then you'll wake up from your fantasy and still realize there's 3 feet of water in your basement and your 60 lbs. overweight. Lets see how many jobs Prop.#1 brings in from the casinos. What did Pope Andrew promise??$400M to NYS and $18M to Oneida County? And you think property or sales taxes will be lowered one penny?

i actually support the tax free zones BUT in ten years NY will still be over taxed and over regulated annnd you still wont have much around the line of freedom. That is if NY can keep going the way its going for another ten years... I got my doubts.
I know people moving from upstate to NJ of all places that shows what kinda place ny is. Hell i was taking to a few people from NJ and even they call it a shit hole up here and thats sad. When Jersey is better thats sad.
Im moving to Portsmouth NH in Feb... See me in ten years and i will let yot know how we are doing. Atleast we got no state tax and more freedom lol.
I wish ny the best a luck but i think yous need more than just my luck alone. Need to start off with new people in govt that will actually do something. Start off by cutting tax. The tax free zones are a good idea if they dont pack up after ten yrs when the breaks run out.

And Whitestown is raising taxes over 2 dollars per thousand. Stating they have to plow additional roads and other goodies.. Then why are the taxes not going down for the area they are plowing for. What shitttt excuses. Its always much easier to raise your taxes than to put their brains to work and try to find ways to lower them. And its all fully strange that these whitestown democratic officials never have a republican run against them . Whats up with that? They cant be doing that good of a bang up job,. They never get a republican opponent ,Its like the republican party likes the good old democrats in this case.

And the Utica newspapers are a big part of the problem.Until they change their readership will continue to fall.Too bad the area gets hurt also. That shit newspaper even held back photos of 4 candidates that they thought would influence voters because a picture is worth a thousand words.I can elaborate if I have to.They know what their motive was behind the picture holdback. The scumbag they are.The candidates whose photos would have presented themselvess as a positive view were of the newspapers non choice to print but for some suspicious reason.

<quoted text> Carl, buddy, you're moving to NH? Isn't NH a Blue state ? or at least a very dark purple state?
its purple and sometimes red and sometimes blue lol it goes back and forth hmm its actually pretty Libertarian... Well its in the top ten for freest state (ny ranked 50th btw). Got a good deal of work moving in plus its kicked back on its regulations/red tape/laws and doesnt have a tax. All in all not bad. Maine is just over the river as well so got two states to choose from really. Its was that or long island said to hell with long island and its even higher tax aggg so sick of tax! Only thing NH weather will suck but haha weather in upstate is shit too... At least in Portsmouth its close to the ocean.

Just got some facts on some polls.
NY ranks 50th in freedom meaning it has the less freedom than any other state. number 1 freest is S. Dakota.
NY ranks 50th in pro business climate.
NY ranks 1st in tax.
NY ranks 1st in people leaving state.
most of the blue state faired about the same as NY but a lot of red/purple states did good. why? blue states tax and regulate too much and the red/purple doesnt not.

How is this an issue? people are fighting if ny is blue or red? thats like asking is Alabama blue or red? Bama' is red NY is Blue. I mean NY reelected Dan Maffei Jesus how much blue can ya get? It voted Obama 2X and Cuomo the one time. The trouble is downstate.... a lot of power/votes comes from downstate and what works downstate doesnt work upstate lol for that matter what works downstate doesnt really work downstate either unless people think tax and laws are something thats good. sure up here has some Rep along with downstate but for the most part it goes Dem and the left. In the case of the GOP up here welp its hard to do any thing or make any kind of change when you are the only red in a blue state. now is that chage for the better or not i dont know. seeing how the red states are booming and the blue are sinking im going with for the better.
