Disgusted

Utica, NY

OMG went there for dinner. Placed was packed! I ordered fajitas off the menu which only said that the meat was served with "vegetables." When it came it was loaded with mushrooms! I can't eat mushrooms! I apologized to the waitress stating that if I saw mushrooms I never would have ordered them. She repeated at least 4 times that mushrooms are "standard" in fajitas. I told her I never had fajitas with mushrooms and she kept repeating it was standard. I asked her if I could have a another dish without the mushroom and she said with a hard attitude "it'll be another 20 minutes." I told her that I could not eat the fajitas and she said "what do you want me to do?" I told her - I already told you what you could do get me another dish - but by this time her attitude turned me off so badly I didn't even want to eat. My company couldn't believe it. I told her to take my plate as I didn't want anything, and asked her to take the plate. I hadn't so much as touched a morsel. Minutes later she comes back and says "we put another on for you" OMG I wanted to pull my hair - I told her again I didn't want anything - my company said she walked away rolling her eyes! My company and I were so disgusted we wanted to leave; now comes the bill - THEY LEFT THE FAJITAS ON IT!!! Charging me the full price! We asked to see a manager who never came. Then the waitress comes back and says "we'll take 50% off" - OMG - I did eat a garden salad which came prior to my dinner, but even that wouldn't have come up to 1/2 the cost of the fajitas. We went to pay our bill, the guy at the podium said he was the manager and could have cared less about our experience. He only said what the waitress said that fajitas are standardly served with mushrooms. Well folks, I'm just disgusted enough to scour the internet to see if I was incorrect. I could not find ONE fajita plate served with mushrooms. Here's the wikpedia definition of a fajita plate. No mention of mushrooms anywhere.

terrible service!!!!! will never go back and I would recommend that you don't go either - their terrible!

Yes, I am thoroughly disgusted at how poorly we were treated!

you wouldn't want to see the kitchen...it's all microwaves. Everything is microwaved! Yuck! And I agree the waitress, who happens to be the owners lesbian lover, is very miserable.

I have never heard of mushrooms on a fajita. Casa Too Mucha does not serve good food. There is good Mexican food at the Rio Grande Tex Mex in Washington Mills. I am not certain if they serve fajitas, but their food is great. They have gotten a little pricey for their servings however.

Well that's what you should expect looking for authentic Italian in a place that calls itself "Casa Too Mucha". I mean seriously people.
Another cheesy "cutesy" Utica attempt at class or some kind of relevance. Most people in their right minds would think "WopDonalds" and look elsewhere.
Are you kidding me? Really people.
Actually, Casa is Mexican, and not good mexican. Warmed over plastic food served as fast as the microwaves can nuke them. The poster above is right--there's a WALL of microwaves in the kitchen.

It looks like you are the moron, yet again. If you can't tell the difference between Italian and Mexican food you shouldn't post your lack of intelligence.

very true. I haven't been back there in over 10 years since my "fresh" burrito was nice and frozen in the middle....a little too short of time in the microwave.
