She just NOT tell you just what you want to hear. Let me tell you she has told me things that didn't make me happy but she also listens to any concerns you have. Drs are not miracle workers there are some diseases that are hard to detect I'm sorry you had a bad experience. My family has had great experience with her

Very high respect for Dr Vecchio; caring, competent, compassionate...and to the point, as Dana stated above.

I went to the doctor once and they doctor opened a medical book and was looking up my problem because she didn't have a clue. I agree, go out of town.

Good luck with you and your family, should you get a life threatening illness. But don't wait too long to get a second opinion. You may pay with you or your loved ones health. A pleasant personality doesn't necessarily mean a competent practitioner.

I really liked Vecchio when she was my primary. Wanted a doctor with Bassett admitting privileges after I saw the level of basic nursing caregiven to a patient who couldn't speak up for himself at St. E's. Sorry, St. E's nurses and CNAs, but when a guy is bedridden AND diabetic, good skin care, attention to circulation and hydration are a no-brainer. You don't let him develop hot spots, let alone decubitus ulcers that another nurse has to debride and heal. Dr. Vecchio is fine. St. E's is not.

Be sure to ask and look up any doctor on the states web site -
They don't end up in this area by chance -
You need to be pro active with your heath because the co pay is much more important than your health ! Just my opinion but I don't agree with your Dr comment.

Doctors that have multiple offices is interesting.
Co-pay as many as you can
