(YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT)He still works for wEed and seed, in a law enforcement capacity, yet he will go on housing inspections. How does this play with the fourth amendment against search?
It seems to me he can stand at the door to your apartment with the police downstairs and tell you he needs to 'inspect' your apartment or shut it down, so let him in or you're homeless. Once he is inside whatever is in plain view or he kicks over during the inspection gives him probable cause to call in the police and ransack your entire apartment without a warrant.
So denying rob access to my apartment under my fourth amendment rights as it stands because he is still law enforcement can lead to my being homeless. Way to bypass constitutional rights to shuffle the crime stats as nyc is also alledged to be doingm
How long until the taxpayers must foot another lawsuit over this?
Listen to the insanity I have a similar story Only I Called Utica City Codes on the slum lords at 811 Broad St the old Robert's Hardware a large factory.
I called on Ken Rockett and Rich DeRosa owners of the building who took away one of my entrances leaving me just one large overhead door
with no windows in the rear of the building it was an extreme fire hazard. I also helped Mr Ken Rockett pull electric wires in the space for Cayo Industries Horror Event which attracts over a thousand people. I found out he was not a licensed electrican in New York State nor Utica. I notified codes dept and the City of Utica and the Fire Dept of this condition. People just lost their lives last year on James St and I told them do we really need anymore deaths due to fire safety codes violations. Now the real insanity when the Codes Dept came to investagte my claim they told me I had to install another door in the building that day or they were going to lock my shop area where I ran a dog rescue. So at my expense I had to install a door that day. Next they told me I had to much stuff in the building and had to open my aisles up. Which I did. A couple days later they said I could not stay in the building with my dogs anymore. Next they said they had to lock the building down because there were no working fire sprinklers in the area. They gave me an hour to remove what I could including the dogs. Now I am outside. Now I have no shop to work in and no shelter for the dogs. So I bought a large motor home and had to chain up all the dogs outside. Then the animal control officer came down and said I had to build 14 dog houses which I did. Then they came a couple days later and seized some of the dogs and told me I could not be on the property. NOW KEEP IN MIND I HAD A 36 MONTH LEASE IN THIS BUILDING WITH THE OWNERS KEN ROCKETT AND RICH DEROSA THE MASS. DEVELOPERS WHO ARE IN BED WITH CITY HALL. THE CITY THINKS THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST THINGS SINCE SLICED BREAD. THEY PURCHASED FOUR RUN DOWN BUILDINGS IN THE CITY INCLUDING 811 BROAD ST ALL BUILDINGS HAVE MAJOR CODES VIOLATIONS AND THEY CONTINUE TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?
