The corruption and politics are getting worse by the day. Why doesn't someone put a stop to this. AD and his buddy buddy coaches are out of control. We all know who the coach is and his court. Shame on the Board letting this get to this. New example, AD son an 8th grader makes JV team while other better 8th graders get cut. AD doesn't care, only about himself.

Everyone knows his game! How he ended up in NH is beyond me! Hamilton didn't want him so NH got stuck with all the BS that comes along with him....he is doing the same shit he did in Hamilton!! Hope the rumors are true ...Go back South so NH could start to repair all the damage he has created!

I don't have any kids playing sports in NH. My opinion is an outsider's.
All complaints are the same in other school systems; parents, who thinks their kids should make a team, but don't.
You just have to grow up and get over it; your kids handle it better than you do.
If there were legitimate problems, your elected school board would rectify them.

I have a son who is an excellent athlete but refuses to play any sports at NH. Coaches ask him on a regular basis to play that seasons sport but he refuses to put up with the favoritism and drama that goes with every sport. Instead he finds other opportunities outside of NH.

Your observations are incorrect as you have no experience I assume in the district.
There is a list of events from when his girls played sports to his son, who has now been involved scholastically for two years in sports, that go above and beyond self interest. I cannot even begin to list them.
NH is atypical. Other schools, yes, the coaches and players etc show favortism but in NH the AD has constantly and consistently layed a foundation for his kids and his kids alone and himself ( i.e now he gets to be in the booth with a head set for football games, with Jones he was off in the corner, off the field by himself with no input) and has consistently and constantly bypassed policy, rules and any sense of fair play at the expense of other kids.
This self interest has permeated into the coaching staff and hiring of coaches who are now dominated by parents coaching their kids on alot of the teams. In simple terms NH athletics is laughable.

You couldn't be more wrong. Yes, other schools have issues but NH parents have deep pockets and those deep pockets get you in bed with the AD and the coach in question.

Its total hypocrisy when it comes to his kids. He's a very vindictive person and can be a very mean guy unless he needs something from you. People tolerate him only for fear of him screwing their kids over .

Ignorance is truly bliss... how about a Superintendent at the same district who made sure his daughter was awarded a soloist spot for a concert in the winter, when she wasn't originally chosen for it to begin with (she was mysteriously chosen after her mother, the super's wife came in and accosted EVERYONE)That same Superintendent also made sure HIS son made the basketball team. Don't forget about the sneakiness of the Board of Education bypassing 4 highly qualified administrators to promote a guy (from Holland Patent), who has only been at the district for one year, to the position of curriculum specialist. It is interesting from an outsider to see the nepotism in the other positions, but because it is athletics, hell, let's crucify the AD because NH sucked at football for the last decade. I am thankful I no longer live in the district!!!!

If an 8th grader got "cut" from JV, he still will play modified. Not really a big deal. If a 9th grader got cut from JV in favor of his son or any other 8th grader and they had equal ability, then i could see why people would be annoyed. How about if you are an 7th/8th grader and you are hoping somebody moves up so it opens a spot for you. I call it "doing the math" and people do it every season in select sports.

To be honest, if i was the coach or in charge of the concert, I'm certain I would put the super's kid on the team or give her a solo. If she wanted to sing the lead in this years play and go out there and embarrass herself, well, I think I would accomodate her. I would hope by the time they get to HS, they will realize their own limitations. The Kelly girl was fantastic this year and NOBODY else should have had the lead. I also tell my son&daughter that you need to have starting 5 ability for bball or starting 9 ability for baseball/softball bc you don't want the political aspects of the school to have an impact on them. You get to be the 10,11,12th man and you have left yourself open to getting fked.
