Does anyone know why the highway lights are off near the 790/49/12 interchange?

They are also off south of the French road exit.

It's kind of a safety issue, not to mention making the city look broke and run down.(I know I know, many feel we are broke and run down but maybe some dressing up will take care of that.)

I am thinking that there is a problem that is scheduled to be fixed along with the Arterial Project next year?

Why clueless? There is no foot traffic in that area. There are no intersections, only ramps for traffic to merge. When the roads are wet, the reflected glare from the street lamps is more distracting than helpful. I was able to see just as we'll last night with my headlamps as when the street lights are on. So why have them?

If that's the case, why have we been paying and still paying for these lights now?

They're off now. Leave them off. Start saving money.

I think they are required at interchanges. I don't mind that they are off in between though.

If there is an accident at night and lights that are supposed to be on are not, can the city be held responsible for the accident if they may have been able to prevent it and were legally required to be on?

They have been off for about a year now.

Maybe they are broken and replacing them with LED's?
