Rome Select is a lesser organization, more talented players will play D-squad or tri-valley. Also Donelius is starting a city rocks branch, not sure of grade levels. If your kid is serious about basketball, I would recommend checking out these organizations first. don't know if they have tried out yet, both probably have web sites..
After watching all the leagues,
D squad sucks!!! Tri valley playaz cant even beat a made up team
from new hartford and whitesboro. Go select, my kid is on playaz and i want to get a release to play on select. Anyone know how?
City rocks, noooooooooo.

I just want to thank everyone for coming out to the Maureen Jewell tournament. For our 1st ever tournament we had over 30 boys teams!!! There was a little confusion on Sunday with the girls bracket and i am sorry for the mix up.These will be things we will improve next year. I want to give a special thanks to the utica teams for coming out and supporting our tournament. Shout-out to Mr. Peterson and George Garret for all there support!!!!!!!

Beautiful tournament. Only next time, dont have games at stadium support. We are older and would like to sit down in bleachers. All the chairs were taken

What team re you talking about???????? If your talking about TRiValley Nick M -didn't his team win 6th grade? And the other team he coaches - 9th grade would have rolled that tourney - they won 10th grade division last week beating syracuse select in finals. Come on man don't hate - appreciate!

did you see who he played? cmon!!!
the way that team was talked up?
If he had played anyone even remotely good, he would of got
rolled.Com e to syracuse where I play every weekend and he
wouldnt even last a day. No hate by the way, he is a good
coach, but those players are terrible.
awww how cute

Tri-valley serous? We beat them all the time....I have full support for D-Squad though. Mr Peterson does a great job!!! the problem is there is only 1 ball... We offer our support to any player that wants a chance to play. Some kids on D squad and caught behind some talented players. We have been running for 5 years and every year we are progressing.
Lol this is funny, how cute Rome Select thinks they are better than Trivalley. Too funny! The only good squad on Rome Select is one of the 5th grade teams only bc it's the Whitesboro coach who brought the Whitesboro kids with him. Rome select just happened to get lucky enough to scoop him up. I doubt you beat Trivalley "all the time". And I know Donelious is serious.. Tell me something if Rome Select is such a good program then why did Jerry move his son to a Utica squad? I guess you gotta put your kid where he is actually going to improve his game huh? lol. BTW sense you guys aren't doing a very good job at teaching your kids how to play ball do me a favor and teach them kids some sportsmenship. Some of those kids have some real bad attitudes. Teach them how to lose with dignity, they are going to need that skill if they stay at Rome Select.

Nether team will amount to much but correction officers using history as a guide. Gotta love the vapid minded parents who wonder why their kids are losers that can't think for themselves.
