how about hopping the fence at proctor and playing football in the field. try to do that at the new field they will probably snipe you. proctor graduations on the football field, drinking at the hole, some people must remember that, throwing penneys on the grill at the campus inn and watching bill try to pick them up with his bare hands. working for mary at the campus inn for a cheeseburger. wasn't there a bunch of people that actually picked up mr. cubino's car and moved it on him, or was that just bull shit? Good clean fun.....now you have to worry about dodging bullets when you head anywhere near proctor.

Cookies were made at Rosato's Bakery - corner of Tilden and Mary St. in Utica. They came in a package or you could by a variety in the same package type. They were all hand made - really good. No you can't buy them any more the Rosato's have all past away. Also use to make the best tomato pie and pustys in town. We ran a mom and pop store I wish I had the money we made selling his products.
I still like East Utica. I live here and I am not Italian, but was married to one for 41 yrs.

Lena and Sam Rosato are my great great aunt and uncle. Uncle Sam just recently passed away Christmas '08, but Aunt Lena is doing well. almost 95 and had more energy than half of East Utica. The comments about the bakery made me think way back to when we all used to play in the parking lot and get yelled at by Sal, the guy that worked for my uncle....nevertheless, it all made me smile :)

ANyone remember Gold Medal Dairy on Belle ave, where the jerk-off Mancuso family is running the Sanitation service now.

I remember that at x-mas time you could go and they had free samples of delicious eggnog.

The Chicago Market on the west side of Mohawk and the Loblaw's on the east side, next door to the State St Mill and what about the Mill's factory store there also.

How about these three all opened at the same time in the Parkway plaza.... A&P Supermarket, Parkway Drugs and the east Utica branch of Marine Midland bank.
