Whats going on there. Drove by today and there were a bunch of people outside for some kind of presentation. Any idea? Any use of that building will be good.

The city is selling the building to a local father/son team for $1000. They have plans to rehab the building. I hope they have deep pockets too. Or, is this another linchpin in the revitalization of Utica and will require taxpayer funding.

if the city is selling the property with a stipulation that the bar is being open to create jobs and the liqueur board wont allow a liqueur board wont allow a license then the plans are already halted the plans of a bar shouldn't even be in the deal with the URA/city because they cant have one the garramons owned a restaurant on varick street and they with all their pull couldn't get a license for the restaurant what makes them think they can within the 200 feet rule the restaurant was called Fianchetto
they had a beer license but couldnt get a liqueur license because they were within 200 feet of a church
