<quoted text>I agree with you and have been saying this for years - Utica needs a City Manager and a Board of Directors to run the City of Utica as a business - not a political "friends and family" program which has been done for years and years.
Politics have held the City of Utica back behind the times ever since I can remember while the politicians were the only ones that benefitted from all the corruption and "pay backs" of political favors.
It will take a young, educated, person willing to fight all the corrupt politicians Utica has before this could happen. BUT - if someone wants to run under these conditions, I believe the voters of Utica would vote for him/her in a huge landside as we are all disgusted with the politics in Utica over the years.
blacks are gross? People like you and your ignorance is holding the city back.

Start bringing back Utica by stopping national grid from overcharging of business and residents! Contact politicians to end delivery charges of gas & electric. Upstate NY will never GROW if national grid is allowed to continue ther price structure and impose it on the people of upstate NY.Elect the politician that will stand up to this monopoly!

<quoted text> I was taught never say never! Never is a very long time. lol I am retired now with a NC and NY State pension, but have several business ventures in progress at this time. I can't imagine subjecting myself to the political turmoil that one would have to be subjected to. IF I was to wake up one morning and decided that it was time that would only be to spend time in Utica to advocate a city manager taking charge. That alone would be enough to have certain groups that are now in power to want to keep me out of Utica affairs. I just don't think at this stage in my life I am up for a good political fight, but it is going to take a political fight to take your city back. Other wise nothing will change in city goverment, except more decay of your city.

Did you shoot up an over dose of steroids at the time you thought of this one. You know where I live you criminal. You were probably the one that robbed my house when I was away. By the way, you should probably have an IQ of over 1 (one) to be mayor. Always were a freak my boy donít think you were ever anything else.

Wait, did someone mention the Hotel Utica? But they have a buyer! And THIS time, they mean it! Really. Just be patient. Why the hast? These things take time. Banks always give businesses decades to make payments on their loans. Why should the city be in such a hurry?
