Cafe Caruso is a nice place, with a pleasant atmosphere, The Caruso family are hard workers who go out of their way to make everyone feel like family!

If you don't like the food, the service nor the atmosphere then don't go. This concept is quite simple and even the minor mentals that wrote incorrect comments should be able to grasp this. I can tell you one sure thing....you won't be missed.

The exact causes of type 2 diabetes arenít completely understood, but it is known that the disease has a strong hereditary component. Individuals who have a parent or sibling with type 2 diabetes have 10 to 15% chance of developing the disease (the risk is much higher if the sibling is an identical twin). Environmental factors like an inactive lifestyle or poor diet may act as a trigger for someone with a genetic tendency towards type 2 diabetes. Other potential causes of type 2 include chronic stress, low birth weight (and associated fetal malnourishment), and gene mutations.

Their cakes are terrible. I've bought a few that were lopsided and soggy. That place has gone down hill over the years.

If they really cared about their customers she should have told you before you made the purchase that they were closing, but to take the money and then say hurry up is rude.

They charge too much for a Cup of Cappucino? The Almond Paste Cookies are dry and break up, could be stale, no Air Conditioning in the Summer!

Their pastries suck. I went there once and never went back. It's a dirty little shop with dried out cakes.

for years since they opened in 1958 i was a customer there and the florentine untill i moved away from utica in 1979..the last time i was there carmen was still alive about 5-6 years ago and his daughter was friendly..carmen and ricki gave 5 of us kids who were 15 in 1958 at that time a charge account of 5 dollars which is maybe 40 dollars today because we went there daily for coffee and a pastry or gelato.our experience was and still is that they are amoung the finest folks you would want top know..yes i like florentines pusties better but both cafes are rare with quality..
last time i was there tank flehan was visting carmen and a couple got a box of pastries to take home with them some 300 miles away..carmen had saddness in his eyes and said there old friends and customers...sorry there good people.
