Justin Smithson who is a phenominal local band singer and guitar player, hosted at the Celtic Harp last nite on Varick St. After there break they came back on set with the lead singer from Rusted root and put on a phenomianal show. Very impressed with the music. I am a big fan of rusted root and would never of imagined seeing him play for free in Utica Ny. Great job Showtime keep up the good work.

That was realllll cool last night. I went inside at CH after the first set and when i came back out they were playing "send me on my way???". I thought damn, they played this song in the first set and they don't know any other songs to play? Then i realized who was singing.....

It was awesome! Why was Rusted Root in town? Did they play a show close by or something?

THE BAND Showtime

It was a great performance...but I'm pretty sure Justin Smithson isn't the only musician in THE BAND Showtime. There are 5 other musicians in that band who are also phenomenally talented.

Joe Rossi - drums
Ben Salzman - guitar, vocals & percussion
Jose Lopez - bass & vocals
Shawn Smith - guitar & vocals
John Short - keyboard & vocals

Gimme a break...
There are more local bands in the valley than showtime. He isn't that special. Showtime's set list never changes. How many times can they play Brickhouse until the crowd vomits!!
