Whoopty doo! They are just an average restaurant in my opinion, but the people who dine there act like a bunch of playboys or something. I've never gotten so many snobby glances from "insurance salesmen" and "veterinary assistants" as I did when I made the mistake of eating at Nola's. It was strange (to see so many wannabes acting like snobs) and yet it wounded my self-esteem a little bit.

I think anybody should be able to eat at a restaurant like Nola's as long as they behave themselves and don't try to dine and dash. But the same Clitonites who frequent Nola's every other day make this almost impossible since they rudely stare at anybody that walks in who isn't like them as if to say, "Ay, what you doin' in OUR restaurant."

A-holes! They can have their fancy-schmancy junk joint and pubic hair salads. I'll be happy to go somewhere where I don't have to wait 45 minutes for my meal to arrive and where the air doesn't reek of anal vapors.

If you knew anything about the owners, you would know that they are anything but snobby, and are extremely hard workers. It is hardly their fault if you feel judged by their customers, so why are you punishing them? Seems to me it might be your sparkling personality the customers are judging--Speaking of anal vapors...maybe it's just you.

Fact is you are spot on. The owners are very hardworking family people and should not be punished. I could walk into any restaurant and yes people are going to look at you it's human nature. If you feel like they are looking at you snobbish maybe they were reacting to the way you were looking at them. The place is a small quaint place so it's kinda hard not too look at the person walking in the door. I absolutely love that place and guess what i'm not from CLINTON!!!!!

Thanks for that ALF. I'm not from Clinton either, and as I am sure you know, neither are the owners. It seems to me the only bad attitude around here comes from Canastota.

Is there a mental hospital in Canastota? It might explain the attitude and the link to "Philadelphia".

This restaurant has to be the best in the area. The other places need to step up to the pump. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the servers are attentive.
