Utica will soon be a playground to extremely rich ,Eccentric and evil Elitists. Uticans were lazy and let it go, now the rich own it.

"Extremely rich"? No point in going there if you have money. As for "elite"..... yeah "elite" in their own minds. Please.

The Riverside Mall had a monopoly on shopping for years until Sangertown Square opened in 1980. Sadly, Sangertown lost competitive edge over the years because management failed to keep things exciting and fresh. I'm confident Pyramid Corp has made tons of profit from Sangertown and it's high time they pumped some money back into it.

When the last of the "table service" restaurants (Friendly's) closed, that was a huge negative statement about the future of Sangertown. Remember Ruby Tuesday's? Much before that were Margarita's and O'tooles. The mall was great back when they had a roller rink and cinemas. Sangertown would benefit from a mix of attractions as well as shopping and dining. I hope it works out.

Circuit City's being turned into a Buffalo Wild Wings and they're also adding another 13,600 square feet to the building and giving it an inside entrance.

It's pretty das when a fast food restaurant even moves out of there.

Maybe a grant would have helped.

Will the mall be brought up to 1990 standards?
