the place is not worth going when you have the track side restaurant and bella reginas which give tons for valued price and high quality homemade food. No hidden surprises with the bill too and you support locals who care about what food they prepare.

Who is the Chef at delmonicos??? some guy off the street who claims he or she can cook?

Hate to rain on your parade but very few restaurants including the two you listed cook "homemade food". Those Cisco trucks don't come every other day because the drivers are eating there. Lol!

The prices are high. You are paying for the young waitresses, their sexy outfits, fishnet stockings, heels & their loud, off-key happy birthday song!

Don't go then. It's pretty simple. They seem to be doing pretty well since every location I've ever been to, which is four of their six, is always packed.

You cheapskate losers. It's called a la carte dining. Ever been to a steakhouse anywhere outside of Shitica? You pay for what you want, nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, this is how fine dining restaurants work in the wider world, beyond the realm of EBT and SSD. I know how hard it is for Utica pinheads to understand this concept. The person who complained probably thinks he was dressing up for the meal because he wore a regular t-shirt instead of a wife beater with his mesh shorts and crocs.

If you want a "free" salad with your $5 chunk of mystery meat, stick to Casa Too Mucha!

You are correct and I just don't understand the complaining. They act like they were stolen from. The prices are very clearly marked on the menu even for substitutes. If someone thinks it's expensive that's one thing and don't go. But to say they are somehow deceptive is just idiotic.

WTF with the charging of salad, replacement items, different dressings and so on and so forth. I bought a meal and thought the price was all included and it turned out it was just for the meat..WTF???
I will never go there again as there are plenty of better places. Meal was not that good either for what we paid.

EBT and SSD have NOTHING to do with someone who is dissatisfied with Delmonicos. I've talked to a few people over the years that could more than afford to eat any where, who were very upset with the service and prices at Delmonicos. Save your BS rhetoric for the tea party nimrod! LOL

If someone doesn't like the food or prices that's one thing. That's their choice and opinion. On the other hand to make accusations that they were cheated when delmonicos prices are very clearly marked is just ridiculous.

Price is not the issue but having a restaurant think that by charging for everything is a good marketing scheme...NOT!!!. A good restaurant does not need to be that picky when charging and could easily figure it in with the meal and still have it seem like its all included for ease of payment at the end...CUT AND DRY....

A place like that that appears to be SOOOO busy, should not need to charge all the nonsense unless they are greedy, which it appears they are.

I would never go there if they can't include salads with the meal..I would rather pay more per meal than to see its added extra, as I always want a salad with meal. Salads and bread should always be free for meals, as this is what you pay for.

There are plenty of better places to eat locally, and I'm not talking about Apple Bees or Olive Garden, but the real home town places.

Delmonicos is a real hometown place though.

Sparagna's was much better and the prices were very reasonable. The ambiance was to die for and the music was most definitely on the plate.

Sparagnas was good. Sloppy joes is better. Both are probably better than delmonicos in my opinion. The one thing you can not claim is ambiance. They were and are both dumps.

I see this complaint from time to time with upstick Utican ilk......

I think the source of the problem is "portion" as they see on the menu could be one of those "uticaism" words like "toe-motor" or "skid-steer" for what normal people call a "forklift".

"Portion" to a Utican means a shovel with food on it like at home. I like Delmonicos... at least you can't see the raw sewage floating by like at Aqua Vino!

He lives in South Woods. In New Hartford. Nice try though.
