Law already exists, its called "endangering the welfare of a child". Been on the books for oh a couple decades now.

Your reference to the "black comunity" shows your racist self, scumhole. Go off and die now.

You're right about the endangering law, but the real problem is NYS legislator's habit of creating new laws for publicity, which they name after some kid to make it appealing to parents, which are simply redundant and unnecessary.

I don't know if this smoking law is being considered but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Just further disgusted with this state.

Since I don't smoke and don't have young children, I fear not.

yea it dont affect you so you dont care ,typical idiot, until these lawmaking goofs make one that affects you which they will eventually make because this state in peticular seems to want laws on the books in which they can get everyone once in the pocketbook. Try the adultury law on the books that politicans and cops constantly violate.

If they are going to enforce it the way they enforce the cell phone laws, they might as well save the time and money it's going to take to enact it in the first place.

They enforce the shit out of the cell phone law here in Albany. I'm even nervous of using my phone with Bluetooth. It's almost like the cops here use a cell phone tracker or something.

I know plenty of people who would wish this law applied to passengers that are over the age of 14 as well. This is a public health law and nothing else. It make the big guys look like caring family men to get support from the moral majority. The way they figure, if you get busted for something so stupid then you are probably not smart enough to vote so they have no reason not to pass this law. I do agree that it gives cops more reasons to pull you over. Don't smoke with your kids in the car if you are riddin' dirty and you should be able to avoid the harassment. When your kids grow up to be asthma free adults they may even thank you as you teach them the family business of weighing out eight balls and stepping on product to stretch it.
