What is your salary adjustment issue? Are staff not receiving raises this year or is your pay being reduced? Glenwood is a government facility covered by a union contract with a set pay scale per job classification, this is state wide, Zvia could not change that, although she probably would've if she could've.
That's the problem, it was just mentioned during a mtg but as usual with no specifics. We have people here with 20+ yrs experience down to newly hired. It seems though that the " adjustment" will be to lower some peoples' salaries "to be fair". How fair is that for those who have been there long term and or were hired by that salary rate? We do not have a union, as we are a Not for Profit agency, she only answers to a Board of Directors.

Thank you for the insult. What I have read is that she was the head of an organization in Florida and then started a job in Iowa. I don't recall that she was a native/roots in Florida. I was only asking....is she an area NATIVE? I.e. have family/roots to this area. No, I haven't read every single post so BEFORE YOU pull the trigger....I was just asking.

You have to ask for a form, anyone at agency can help you with that. It costs $10 to become a voting member and have a voice.

We have no recourse, who can we speak to if HR functions this way? Is this legal?
No it is NOT legal. HR is run by her. All you can do is again document document document. A union will be bought just like the one in Glenwood. Once all facts are gathered, GET A LAWYER!! I know someone who was investigated by campus investigators and then investigated by DIA. DIA found nothing wrong had happened. The person was still suspended, shunned and was continually ridden until the person finally left. So depressed. It was awful.

We have no union and are a non profit agency she is totally non-communicative with staff. Goes through her hench team of power trippers. It was an awsome place to work before all the nonsense but oh well now people won't have that commitment it's "just a job " and a shitty one at that! Only ones happy have the same vision $$$$ so for them this is a good thing! Heard Arc is hireing! See you all there!

The agency is top heavy with supervisors and managers. Many of them are underqualified. They spend hours in useless meetings that never accomplish anything of value. They should get rid of them and redistribute the salaries to those who actually put in a day's work.

Be aware that Zvia has a Facebook account. She makes infrequent entries. Word was when at GRC, she used the account to "check out" staff. So did Supervisors and Managers. Be careful what you say to friends in Facebook. Even if you think your privacy settings cover you. Don't count on it. Best practice is to say nothing about work on Facebook.
She attempted to use something an employee said on their private account (no ties on the account to RCIL) to a person who was threatening this person as grounds to write the employee up. In the process she confirmed to a person who was threatening physical abuse to a staff member where that staff worked! The best part is she wanted this write up based on the fact that she stated the community member could bring the statement to a newspaper and make RCIL look bad. Someone in what they did in their private life, private time and private social media could make RCIL look bad, AND now look, this big cheese has made topix. She needs to go. I have seen her in action questioning regulations that she knew nothing about and thinks she can challenge NY State to change them because she just plain doesn't like them.
Oh and in the end from what I understand the employee refused to sign the write up that was falsly prepared by Molly and not the employees supervisor despite the rules in place. Molly did, however, have the supervisor sign the form as though she wrote it. Is that legal???
