Oops sorry Fighter. Didn't mean to use this without the 2. I agree with things you say accept the fact that this is fraud and why can she get away with it. She manages others like we don't matter and it's all about numbers but her BS loss doesn't count ?? If the new person warrants a chance then she knows and has a duty to FIND the loss. I think this is legitimate to chase and get an answer for! Maybe all staff she will report almost that time again.

Then someone needs to step forward and get a union movement organized. I'm in!
Haven't any of you read the Des Moines Register??? The state paid an ex-union officer $10,000 to keep his mouth shut! A union will NOT help you. The only thing that will help you is a lawyer!! We all warned you what was going to happen.

YOU go right ahead and give her a fair chance. We did too. Many of us have either been fired, or forced into retirement. All your mean girls will gather at her feet. Wait, you'll see!

A few things have been said here that just keep picking people apart. So much of it totally untrue! Joann's credentials easy enough to find the answer (ask her!) I took some courses with her! Beth's situation ...strange that the two of them still hang out if Beth blames joann . Donna and rude perhaps that happened but we have all made mistakes. I regret many of mine and only hope the people I offended forgave me. What is the point quit with the high school stuff! I get that some of you have an ax to grind for whatever reason but personal attacks are not going to get is to our goal! What are YOU willing to do about the Bigger issues?? Are you members yet? Don't sit back recruit people to join we need a strong voice. We also need a voice inside RESPOND to emails if you don't agree there is no harm in speaking truth! Z attends a meeting and asks "so tell me what the problem is" who spoke out? Did all of you?? It appears as if a few people have a problem because you are getting caught up in mudslinging on here rather than speaking truth where it counts! Please focus and let your voices be heard.
Wow, I don't know what planet YOU live on, but Z is just beginning! Stop with the one for all, all for one crap it isn't going to work. You each have to cover yourselves! It's a bit like the show, "The Walking Dead" you can try to help but ultimately, she will infect as many upper management as she can. So, take off the Rose Colored Glasses, THIS IS WAR and there is a good chance YOU will lose

Can you or anyone please produce any proof? Actually of any legal matters other than that it's hearsay.
Guess no one has read the Des Moines Register . None of what has been said here is hearsay. You have only been told things by those who have experienced it or have relayed info from the Des Moines Register. Read the glenwood ia topix too, you'll see. It is not all BS!

How many do you have left to go? She's keeping track, I'm sure. Your board has her there to do their bidding. Governor Brandstad had her in Iowa to do his, but she got too big for her britches and took on more authority than she had, at the risk of making him look worse than he already is in the publc eye. He's a piece of work, that one. She finally brought so much heat on him, he had to get her out of there. Not hiring handicapped people based on their handicap then bragging about it, not cool. She's a fine specimen, a good psychiatrist would have a field day with her.

Just heard another long time employee fired for whistle blowing about her supervisor. Ah, corporate corruption at it's best.

The perception is always that Directors don't 'do' anything. Actually, they do, depending on the corporation. There is much to do keeping an organization in balance. Contracts to oversee, policies to write, update, and enforce. Grievances to address, employee work needs assigned, followed up on, rechecked and redone when necessary. Supervisors need to be directed under the care of a Director, then that work has to be followed up on, verified and more work assigned. There is always a plethora of people pointing out who isn't doing what, so there is always follow up from The Gladys Kravitz' of the world and all their tongue wagging. You know the ones, he/she isn't doing this/that. Now they are looking at them and not paying attention to me, the one that isn't REALLY working, instead I'm nitpicking and nosing into everybody else's work. Then there are the biatches that cause trouble, making people's lives a living HE!! just because they can, and often times they are your peers. Yeah, Directors have it made. Why don't you come to work, do your job, stop the drama and go home at the end of the day. Maybe then the Directors could actually get some work done instead of babysitting children in adult bodies? Make yourself accountable, reliable and dependable, it would go a long way in allowing the work place to function.

You are clueless to what is going on there. Board members are disengaged, mgmt are bullies. Good people work their butts off only to be ridiculed, embarrassed, shunned and stifled. If board members knew what really went on at this agency. Missing funds, mismanagement of donations, fraud and misrepresentation. So very sad. Burt's vision is lost.
