They need to get rid of the fat ugly balding thumb sucker Kristi too. That bitch is pure evil and a bully. Wendy needs to get laid or something too. Miserable bitch!!!!! That place will be better off without both of them. Have heard nothing but bad about them for the last 6 months. All employees are overworked and so under paid.

It's just amazing that she hasn't changed her ways! She must think she is invincible. Iowa people thank you for the support it is so sad that during her reign you lost good people! We can't afford for that to happen . This was such a great place to work before she came here hope we can band together and she is relieved if her duties. Any advice is so appreciated!! Again thank you for creating a site we could eventually find and confirm our thoughts about her management style. Wake up staff...COMMENT and show support here so we can move ahead!! If not it will get much worse!!!!

Just in case any of you missed the post in glenwood, document, document, document! Record, have witnesses at all times. Not just with her but with your supervisors. I have watched many get fired, investigated, go into early retirement because of supervisors who were advised on how to make sure their charges stick. Now, if they want you gone, you will be gone. Do you have a union? Make sure they are not being paid off. The only people that get representation will be the RTWs, not nurses, not office, not kitchen. So get ready for a long nasty couple of years. Good Luck God Bless. Pray, you will need to.

Remember ANY ONE can be investigated. Print out any evidence you can find, keep a set of all and send a set to your DIA. You will be told you have to go through channels. NO you don't, just explain the problem is the "cheese" and your supervisor, so who else could you send the evidence to? The newspaper? Make sure your newspaper is aware also. You will also want to see if your state has a black list. Check Des Moines Register starting March 26. You will get an eyeful. Many people prevented from going to work for ANY state agency.

We need to be constructive in how we handle this. Just using this forum for just personal attacks is not going to solve this problem. Yes, this is very discouraging (pessimism, unease). Yes, the atmosphere in agency has become stifling (freedom of expression??). Yes, there seems to be fear and anxiety (email banter almost non existent, people in halls simply exchanging hurried glances thinking at same " don't want to appear as if "not working"). As adults we expected some change, and know how to deal with it. But in this situation we are being treated as wayward unruly children who are untrustworthy, and need to have a stick taken to us. It is that stick, and those who yield it, and by what means, that have created the "perfect storm".
Burt had always stated that RCIL is successful at what it does because of us who have made it so, the work that we do to make things happen. He didn't have to carry a stick or need people to swing it at us. He treated us in the same way that he expected us to have for our consumers, with respect and dignity. He instilled a passion in us to fight for what is right, and we have many times and won. Now we need to have the same spirit and fight for ourselves and what this agency represents, empowerment and righting a wrong.

Keep the vision said it well. You do need to keep your posts professional and on point otherwise you will only appear like how she will try to play your complaints off as, disgruntled workers and that she is doing something right in ruffling the feathers of poor workers. Stay professional and to the point of her poor leadership. She does instill fear and creates a culture of tattling and finger pointing rather than promoting good work. She stopped all positives at the facility in Iowa, no longer were employees years of service recognized, the employee "HOPE" committee no longer put on events for staff, etc, etc. She took away positivity, hope, and happiness. But eventually her arrogance and poor judgment caught up with her. She is a bully. If you disagree with her, she "will have a problem with you too". You will be treated as though you know nothing, your education and experience mean nothing to her, she knows all on everything. If your professional expertise disagrees with her illogic, watch out, you will be deemed a non team player and she will watch for something to pin on you. She was not compassionate to those in care, in fact many of those in care made negative comments about her, rarely did she wave or speak to them. Again you said it well, she will not treat you with dignity and respect, but instead you will feel as though you are always in trouble. Carry a recorder in your pocket when you meet with her, get all of her decisions in writing, otherwise she will change her story when it suits her and you will be the one left at fault. Good luck.

Thank you Iowa Professional. We know it will be a tough road but there is strength in numbers. Hopefully others will leave the personal remarks aside ( although totally understood) and focus on a constructive plan of action. It is shocking how most everything we here in Utica have read on the Glenwood posts is now happening exactly the same way. Especially concerning your recent post. Obviously there is a pattern of faulty leadership. Our prior executive director was here for 30 yrs, this agency was his legacy and we need to keep those values alive. This agency is made of fighters who knock down barriers for a living and do not give up. Hopefully that drive will carry us through this and put an end to this dictatorship. Again thank you all.

I am appalled To the point if tears. We live on so little and gives I much in the workplace, 99% of us do what we do because it's are passion.we can't allow this to continue. Did she quit and then come here?
