Finally! I love Papa Johns Pizza. Lived in West Palm Beach, Fla. years ago and got hooked on it then. The BEST PIZZA EVER!!! About time we finally get one here, been waiting for this to happen. It will be located in the previously moved Cartridge World location in Crossroads Plaza. Next to Morehouse Appliances and Moveable Feast Caterers. BTW...Cartridge World moved a few spaces down in same plaza to a smaller location, I was there yesterday getting a new ink cartridge and the young man working told me all about it,
They are hoping to possibly open pre- Super Bowl weekend if it all works out logistically. Sooner the better I say...I'll be there on day one opening too.Thank you Papa John. ;)

Right. Here in 'Pizza Central' that's what we need. A fast food pizza chain.

Yes we do actually. Because Papa Johns Pizza is excellent...and is priced affordably as well..
The prices at the so called "Mom'n'Pops" places are outrageous. And this Papa Johns will basically be in my front yard...So I'm as happy about it as I can be...
Also...I've lived many places in this country of mine...When a good thing comes to this place...I know it...But when the majority of ppl from this area are too afraid to cross the bridge...What do you expect of that mentality...LOL!!!

Great, as mentioned: Another chain of crappy pizza. Just what I wanted: bunny turds when I order sausage on my pizza. Papa Johns is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. I really hope this isn't true.

Didn't stop little caesars or Olive Garden from doing well in utica...you know the land where they have "the best Italian food".
Little Caesars is cheap, but somewhat decent for the quality you expect for that price. Papa Johns is just awful all around. I think I would actually pick DiGiorno's if given the choice between tasting that and PJ's. Haven't been to Olive Garden yet, but wouldn't rule it out. Hear good and bad about it. Always have been a supporter of local business (if they're lucky enough to survive around here). Yes local italian fare is more expensive than a chain place, but the quality is much better. If they have to put a chain place in, why not make it something that this area is not too familiar with yet, like Carrabba's, Cracker Barrel, Sonic, Carl's Jr., Jack In The Box, or White Castle? Granted, if I were to be a franchise owner, Utica would be my last option. While Hawaii is named the melting pot of the USA, I believe Utica is the chamber pot of NY. Bringing another big name franchise to this area would be like dropping a gold nugget into a vat of manure. You'd just be dooming yourself into a world of filth, crime, and corruption.

I did say that, but no worries. Agreed. Nothing would motivate me to waste my money for something that would be vulnerable to the dregs of society.

hehe... it's right next door to "Movable Feast" (I believe that's the same as Twin Charlies?) and across the street from Pizza Hut... Wow. Talk about having balls.

And you're right... we don't need more food. It would be nice if we could afford to have something like a Fry's or Microcenter here... you know, since we're supposedly such a huge "tech corridor?"

Can't believe anyone is excited about getting a Papa Johns You don't know what good food is. Papa Johns is awful and it isn't cheap. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good.

Spoken like someone who's actually never been to NYC or probably out of the Utica region for that matter.

Here's a tip. The price of pizza is pretty consistent across the country.
