Are you fucking serious? GO BACK TO TEXAS THEN! Oh wait you probably can't because any shop in Texas would throw you and your HACK crew out in the street, set your supplies on fire so you can't screw anyone else up. And no you're lying I have been in your shop and it is filthy and it smells bad sorry try to lie to someone else. The only reason you're still in business here is that there is no health department regulation!
So why do you only have like 20 pics of piercings in your "piercing" portfolio and 16 appear to be infected or in a state of rejection? Why can't any of you answer questions about dermal anchors? Oh wait that's right any you do fall out!
Another fine example of people with just enough money to open a so called tattoo shop doing so.
Girl owned and girl operated = total bullshit! Another lie!
That retard you have piercing people is a guy not a girl.
Wow you have nothing else to do except piss and moan about shit. What do you do for a living? Do you tattoo? DO you pierce? If so lets check out your location and how "sanitary" it is.

To "GO PRO"..I think you clearly have our shop confused with some other place. Come down to see me anytime and I'll gladly talk with you about dermal anchors, give you a tour of our place and introduce you to our very female piercer. Considering almost every piercing in our portfolio is freshly done, I am more certain you have ours confused, since there would be no evidence of "infection or state of rejection" in a new piercing.

In response to your suggestion that I "go back to Texas"..I go back for convention pretty regularly.

will never EVER go there again or recommend to anyone. Most unprofessional place I have been to. Neighborhood kids hang out all around the shop and invade what was supposed to be my "sanitary area", had an apt and was taken in a hour late after artist was outside smoking cigarettes and chatting with her obnoxious boyfriend while I waited.. worst tattoo experience ever.

I have been to Bodily Charm in Utica and am having a portraiture done in Memory Of my Son may he Rest In Peace … the likeness is exactly as my Son looked and so much that it made my wife cry… the staff is friendly and the owner an artist. Betty put in a long day and did great work …They want and stress that what the customer wants is what they want. I witnessed Betty’s husband take care of a customer who had went to someone else for a piercing and fixed what the other place had messed up (most places would have told the customer to go back to the other place).Oh and her husband is a Shriner’s Clown so that should tell you something about the owners, and how they care about others …. Price’s are very reasonable. The shop was clean and concern was shown to keep a sterile field. I would and have recommended Bodily Charm to some of my friends and to anyone wanting good artist work by a true artist and nice people over all.

I got my nose pieced there and it never got infected of course I followed the instructions they gave my to take care of it too. Everyone has a preference too. If you don't care for the place go some where else. I've gotten many piercings from different places and its the best place I have been to, in my personal opinion. I would highly recommend Bodily charm.

Dear John Doe: I can see that even though you have something to say, you are averse to posting your real name, so I'm not sure that I or anyone else should take you seriously. I appreciate your feedback and would like to give you some as well. If you have a problem with the application of my kindness and tolerance, don't come back to my shop. I don't need web-toed, sister-loving, slack-jawed redneck trash in my life or my workplace. And you might want to consider therapy for your homophobia (since you're obviously a closet-dweller) before you get caught in an airport glory hole with a cock in your mouth.

Just got a tat from Kayla and it was the worse tattoo experience I have ever had. I arrived on time more my appointment and waited two hours while she was tattooing what seemed to be her friend and she had a bunch of other kids there with her, all smoking pot outside. The whole time I got my work done she had her friends there and kept taking smoke breaks. I will never ever go there again or recommend to anyone. So unprofessional and dirty.

One, you are one rude, and embarrassingly unimaginative when it comes to slamming someone's place of business and their personal and professonal character. Before I make you want to hide in your mom's basement for the rest of your life, afraid to open your mouth again and have people relalize what an immature simpleton you are, let me tell you about MY experience at Bodily Charm.
I walked in, no appointment, everyone was clearly busy with the appointments from non-ass clown clients. The very friendly gentleman at the front desk stopped what he was doing, and answered all my questions. Then when I mentioned wanting to continue laser removal that I had begun heard before, the other man who does these procedures spent almost a half hour explaining my options, should I chose to begin those treatments again. Kayla, was so sweet and scheduled my appointment for her next available opening. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I missed the appointment and was unable to reach her til the following afternoon where I apologized and explained what had happened. Did she give me a hard time about not canceling ahead of time? Did she give me any attitude at all? NO. She squeezed me in immediately, and when I arrived for my appointment, she was already there and I was EARLY. She made me feel quite at ease, did my tattoo so perfectly that I scheduled another appointment the same week! So what is your major gripe here? That you had to wait a little bit? Ever stop to think that maybe it was because she takes her time to ensure her customers receive the attention needed to give them the tattoo they came in asking for? That she takes pride in her work and doesn't flip clients as quickly as say the person who shaves your back? Oh that's right. She's a smoker...with friends! Good lord, how horrible! She should be lynched on sight....yeah, that was sarcasm. Do you have a job? Are you permitted breaks? What makes her so different? I know for a fact that she stays well after shop hours to accommodate her clients tattoo appointments. So take the stick outta your ass, put your big boy panties on, and quit yer crying. And if you can't manage posting without grammar and spelling above the 3rd grade level, don't even bother responding. I about gave myself a migraine reading your last post and the blatant assault of the English Language. Pretty please. I'm all set with you, run along now and find someone actually deserving of all your whining.

Dear Disguisted: I'm sorry you feel like you had a bad experience. You never mentioned whether you were happy with the quality of the work or whether you were happy with the actual tattoo. I am not calling you out, but I will say that since our shop is in a busy plaza located in a residential neighborhood in South Utica, it's a bit tough to imagine anyone just hanging out smoking pot outside in broad daylight. And since I'm rather intolerant to things like that, you can bet that I would have bounced their ass out if I was there to smell it. But I think you should realize that our shop is always intensely busy and tattooing is not an exact science when it comes to time. Sometimes people have to wait past their appointment time so the person preceding them can walk out with their tattoo perfect, not rushed. When it's your turn in the chair, you'll appreciate the artist taking their time with you. Additionally, like the commenter above mentioned, we need breaks--for smoking, for eating, for phone calls. We're not machines and we don't have lunch breaks. We work from open to close and past, non-stop all day. If we didn't take breaks, we wouldn't be able to do our jobs effectively. It's a stressful job because every client expects a perfect tattoo every time. The weight of your mistakes at work and the weight of our mistakes at work have very different consequences, I'll bet. A little understanding from our clients goes a long way. Unfortunately, I can't apologize for the wait or the breaks in a way that is truly contrite, so I won't. Call it radical honesty.

I just got a tattoo done on Wednesday from Betty and it looks amazing. The shop was extremely clean and the employees were so friendly. This was my first tattoo and they definitely made me feel comfortable. I have decided that if I choose to get another tattoo in the future I am definitely going back to Betty
